Why you selected them:
I chose James Burke because he had a deep concern back in
2012 of an epidemic of illicit drug use that was and is becoming
wide spread and had an urge for a drug free America. Having
young children myself and constantly being in fear of them
learning about drugs and constantly fearing that they may or
may not experiment with them this “Leader” jumped out to me
and I really want to get to know more about him and his
motivations and the things that he has accomplished.

Assignment Overview: The purpose of this assignment is to
gain different perspectives on leadership development and to
contribute to a personal
philosophy on leadership development.
During Week Two: You will be reviewing the biographical
information and personal testimonies of several noted people in
leadership roles from
around the world. You will find a list of names in the back of
your Bennis (2009) course book that you may select from. You
will choose one (1)
of these individuals and write a 2 – 3 page (APA formatted)
paper on that individual.
