2. PROJECTS
1. TO EVALUATE DEPRESSION IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
The mental health of students of various levels is an area of increasing concern worldwide. The objective of
this study was to examine the prevalence of depression, anxiety and stress among a group of university
and a group of collage level students. Analysis of depression anxiety and stress was completed while
students were in their respective classrooms by using “The Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression” by 310
students.
2. Prevalence of worldwide Asthma
We studied 100 articles which and were published from 1990 onwards till the present year on asthma prevalence and
thus calculated percentage of asthma patients in five continents which were Asia, Australia, America, Africa, Europe.
In Asia 4.3% prevalence, America 10%, Africa with 16%, Africa 18.4% and most prevalence was found in Australia which
was 21.3%.
