Richard Ogden attended a three day trip sponsored by B Braun Medical. He learned about B Braun's philosophy of sharing expertise through knowledge sharing, innovation, and efficiency. The trip included CEOs, directors, managers, specialists, and various NHS staff. Ogden believes embracing philosophies from the top down removes barriers to communication. He concluded that sharing his experience of effective management, efficient production, and innovative devices across the Trust could drive sustained efficiencies with top-down support.
