The 2012-2017 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is a four-county action plan created in partnership with state, regional and local economic development organizations to promote cluster-based industry strategies, business growth and development, and high wage job growth. The CEDS is organized around six pillars and aims to bring tax dollars back to the region through entrepreneurship/small business development and value-added industry projects. Implementation of the CEDS can inform the Seven 50 initiative on potential projects, programs and activities to create a globally competitive regional economy.
