Organization setup includes:

You can initiate Workflow to generate notifications,
approvals, transactions, and update a Work Order status.

Asset Groups
If you have assets in your organization that are virtually
identical, consider creating an Asset Group for those
assets.

Use the Descriptive Flexfield Segments window to:
• Define a new asset attribute group
• Add attributes to new or existing attribute groups

Rebuildable Items and Serial Numbers
Items or components that are installed, removed, or
refurbished are rebuildables.
Examples include:

Non-Stock Direct Items
Non-Stock Direct Items are contrived as "one off", bought
directly from a vendor for a specific Work Order and
Operation. They are defined in the Master Item as:
• Purchased
• Purchasable
• Stockable check box cleared

Activities
Activities provide you with a standard template of jobs
that are applied to Work Orders.
Activities contain the required information to perform the
jobs, such as:
• Resources
• Material
