MCI produced a memorable cross-cultural gala dinner event for 1,500 top performers at an organization with 600,000 sales representatives. The event used theme and staging to break down barriers between the Chinese participants and their host country. MCI's gross margin for 2010 was €75 million, with 9% growth attributed to 4% organic growth and 5% growth through acquisitions. MCI expects 20% organic growth in 2011 along with an excellent pipeline of confirmed business exceeding projections.
Tilman Hengevoss discusses the value of engagement at events. He notes that keeping audience attention and measuring event results are key challenges. Emotional elements can foster greater engagement than rational ones. Zurich Financial Services has shifted budgets from traditional media to event platforms that engage customers through discussion and entertainment on topics like climate change. Hengevoss measures event impact through engagement surveys with quantitative KPIs. High engagement reflects effective communication and translates to increased productivity.
The document outlines a common folder structure devised for a company's functional departments based on existing data. This document provides a test report of SPAUN's SUS 5581/33 NF satellite distribution system. The key points are:
1) The SUS 5581/33 NF system can connect up to 9 satellite receivers to a single coaxial cable using SCR (Satellite Channel Router) technology.
2) It allows both serial and tree configurations. Terrestrial signals can also be included for combined satellite and terrestrial distribution.
3) Test results showed the system distributed signals reliably over 150 meters of cable with minimal signal loss. Receivers were able to lock onto signals without issues.
4) The system provides a simple and cost-effective way to distribute satellite signals throughout a home or building to take advantage
This document provides a test report of SPAUN's SUS 5581/33 NF satellite distribution system. The key points are:
1. The system can distribute satellite signals from a quad or quattro LNB to up to 9 satellite receivers connected to differently specified wall sockets.
2. It uses SCR (Satellite Channel Router) technology to allow each receiver to tune different satellites/channels independently over a single coaxial cable.
3. The system was tested and found to work well, with wall socket losses and tap losses within specifications. It provides flexibility in configuration and easy installation.
The P.168-W switch from EMP-Centauri can be controlled by both DiSEqC 1.1 and DiSEqC 1.2 commands, allowing it to switch between 8 LNB inputs. Normally, DiSEqC 1.2 is used for motor control, but this switch recognizes the 1.2 "position of the motor" commands to sequentially switch its inputs. This allows receivers that only support DiSEqC 1.0 or 1.2 to control the 8-input switch. The switching is very fast, comparable to a motorized dish system.

The NM200E Core Verification System is a revolutionary technology that enables nuclear plant operators to accurately measure the positions of all fuel assemblies in a PWR reactor at the end of an outage.
Developed by Newton Labs in partnership with a major U.S. nuclear utility, the NM200E produces a precise global map of fuel assembly s-hole positions, including any degree of misalignment or top nozzle rotation and compares them with the ideal positions established by plant engineers.
The accuracy of the NM200E is derived from sophisticated, Newton-developed software that compensate for the visually distorting thermal turbulence and use the core baffles as positional references.
In addition to accuracy, the NM200E features a considerably rapid mapping time of two hours or less.
This document provides guidelines for operating the JEOL 2010 TEM located at the NTNU Department of Materials Technology Electron Microscopy Laboratories. It discusses sample insertion and filament procedures, how to locate the beam, perform basic imaging modes like bright field and dark field, take photos, and perform techniques like CBD and EDS. The final section covers properly ending a session, including removing the sample, turning off the filament and high tension, and draining remaining liquid nitrogen from the cold trap. Users are reminded to follow all safety procedures and to properly document any issues in the log books.
