This document discusses different ways that service design proposals can contribute value. It identifies nine types of value: usefulness, instrumentality, technical excellence, social significance, mutual advantage, collective welfare, aesthetic values, moral implications, and types of value in relation to what they are defined by. The document concludes that the answer to how service design can create value is manifold and multi-faceted.
