I beseech you – beg, urge, encourage, appeal
By the mercies of God – compassion
Present your bodies a living sacrifice – as opposed to a sacrifice of death
Holy, Acceptable to God – pure, without spot or blemish
Your reasonable service – since Christ died for us we should live our lives for him. 2 Corinthians 5:15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

The third study in our "Growing Deep in the Gospel" series. In this study we answer the question "What isn't the Gospel?" by looking at false gospels, the difference between religion and the gospel and three ways to live: be your own god, make yourself right with God and trust Jesus.
Gary Vaynerchuk talks about Content & Social MediaKen Sapp
Great talk and Q&A from Gary Vaynerchuk at National Achiever's Congress 2019 in Singapore... Lots of takeaways but these are powerful: "Eliminate friction between your message and your customer" and "The INTENT of content is the VARIABLE of Success." So does your message create friction? What is the intent of your content? Are you real and adding value or is your content just an "ask" wrapped in content?
Thanksgiving Party Activity - Looking BackKen Sapp
Thanksgiving is an American Holiday where people set aside a day to remember what God has done for them over the past one year and praise Him and give Him thanks for the works He has done in their lives. This game plays on the idea of looking forward yet being able to recognize and picture what is behind. It serves as a metaphor for us, also looking forward to the future, but taking some time to picture and recognize what God has done in the past."
Although gummy bears were invented by German Candy maker Hans Reigel in 1922, the gummy worm is a relatively recent concept. The Gummy bear wasn’t shipped to America until around 1981 and then an American candy company extended the idea to gummy worms to give kids something fun to eat and to shock their parents. Gummy worms are one of the most popular gummy candies around. Use these games with gummy worms as an object lesson to talk about Jesus’ call to his disciples to become fishers of men.
Even if you don’t want to be involved with Halloween, you’ll want to grab at least one of those plastic or paper Halloween skeletons for this object lesson / game.
Halloween Party Activity - Pumpkin PicassoKen Sapp
How well can you draw the Halloween Jack-o-Lantern? Here is a great youth game idea for the Halloween season. You can use it to bring a fresh spiritual meaning to the holiday and allow your youth to apply it to seeking God’s plan and direction for their lives. You could even relate it to a talk about not conforming to the patterns of the world. Be creative and have a great week! And for those completely adverse to anything associated with Halloween, see the alternative variation under the “preparation” section.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Points to Emphasize for Youth
1. Worship is very important to
God and must be conducted
according to His standards.
2. Because of Jesus’ perfect
sacrifice on our behalf, we are
free to offer back to Him our
lives, our service, our
compassion for others, our
prayers.
3. Our promises to God should
never be entered into lightly as
he considers them binding.

Practical Applications for
Youth:
1. Do I take time to worship
God through total
attentiveness and openness?
2. Do I sense how very serious
God considers sin and do I
spend time in confession and
restoring fellowship?
3. Like the feast days of the
Jews, are Christmas and
Easter times of reflection on
God’s love for me?
4. Is my word dependable?

Parting Thought for Youth
Walter Knight’s Master Book
of Illustrations included
some resolutions for any
time it our life: “I will like
Paul forget those things
which are behind and press
forward, like David lift up
mine eyes unto the hills
from whence comity my
help; like Enoch to walk in
daily fellowship with my
heavenly Father, . .
www.CreativeSermonIdeas.com
12. www.CreativeYouthIdeas.com
like Job, be patient under
all circumstances; like
Caleb and Joshua refuse to
be discouraged because of
superior numbers, like
Andrew, strive to lead my
brother into a closer walk
with Christ… Realizing that
I cannot hope to achieve
these objectives on my
own strength. I will rely
upon Christ, for I can do all
things through Christ
which strengthened Me’”
