The document summarizes the full armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10-18. It explains each piece of armor: the belt of truth refers to relying on God's word as truth; the breastplate of righteousness protects the heart and comes from having a right standing with God through Jesus; peace in the gospel protects the feet; faith acts as a shield against attacks; salvation through Jesus protects the mind; and the sword of the Spirit, God's word, is used to fight spiritual battles. It emphasizes relying on God's power and truth rather than human understanding alone.
Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study:
“The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body.
We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man.
Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.

To God All the Glory!
The fruit of the spirit is joy. Paul’s letter tto the Philippians teaches us that real joy is not dependent on our circumstances, but on being in a right relationship with our Lord Jesus and with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Some notes from recent teaching sessions - they are aimed at giving more of a background / preparatory idea about how a person might move into a position to be "anointed" by God.
“Being used by God
is not confined to pastors, preachers or teachers. Anybody can be an instrument
in God's hands.”
God can use anybody, believer or nonbeliever.
John 3:1-5. A New Life In Christ. In the new life we have been born again. In the new life we are a new creation. In the new life we crucify the flesh with its passions and desires. In the new life we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. In the new life we are renewed by the Holy Spirit. In the new life we are dead to sin but alive to God. In the new life we are washed from our sins. in the new life we put to death the old man and put on the new man. In the new life we died and our life is hidden with Christ in God. In the new life we were brought back from death in sin.
it is impossible for us , being a human to be satisfied while we are in our physical life! King Solomon the wisest and the richest king said "everything is vanity". this message tells us that we can experience satisfaction through the presence God. therefore let us aim and aspire His presence above all things. God bless!

Take Up The Sword of The Spirit - Ephesians 6:17bDavid Turner
A good soldier must know how to use his weapons. For the Romans it was a sword. For the Christian it is the Word of God. Download free PowerPoint presentations of Ephesians at BibleGuy.org
Take up the helmet of salvation eph 6 17aDavid Turner
The head is the location of our thoughts and memories. We must protect our minds by putting on the helmet of salvation. The mind cannot be transformed without Christ becoming the center of our thoughts. The transformation saves us from the vane belief systems and ethical impure thoughts of the world. Put on Christ and put on the helmet of salvation. Free PowerPoint Download at http://bibleguy.org/sermon-resources/powerpoints/886/06/17/
Man was created a tripartite. He is composed of spirit, soul and body. How man is composed explains why we had to be restored by a God Trinity.
Where does the spirit, soul and body reside after man's death? Man was made in the image of God, he is created to last for eternity. Reward or Judgment.
Shalom Saints,
It is in this time of Purim that we are reminded again of the power of putting on the armour of God.
Having situations and calamities still happening in our lives, we are still struggling with the very basic in our lives, to obtain peace and His promise.
Paul focused the believer on spiritual warfare, who we are wrestling with...
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
...against principalities,
...against powers,
...against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
...against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The believer will not stand a chance if he does not put on the FULL armour of God. A partial armour also makes the believer vulnerable.
Let's learn how the enemy attack believers and how the armour of God protect us. Also to claim this privilege of protection that God has given unto each one of us.
Ephesians 6:13 NKJV
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Earthquake in Turkey, flood in Johor, snow in Hollywood...you can name each disaster that may seemed a distance to us physically. One disaster that is closest to ourselves is when it happen to our family.
Come and join us and learn how we can put on this armor corporately and stand firm on His protection and promise.
As you know who we are, a prayer altar. Come and join us who can pray for you behind your back.

CONCLUSION: EPH 6:18
What is the Christian's "Breastplate of Righteousness" described in Ephesians 6? We are often told the believer's armor is to be compared to that of a Roman soldier. Is this accurate? Study this lesson, and if possible, listen on FaceBook or YouTube by typing my name and the title or text of this study.
What does "having your feet shod with the gospel of peace" mean? How does a Christian prepare their feet? Why is comparing the armor of God to the Roman soldier inappropriate? To what is this metaphor more likely referring?
People need to hear the essential elements of the Gospel in order to be saved. They will not be saved by hearing your testimony but by the truth of the Gospel. Declare the complete message of redemption for forgiveness and eternal life thru Jesus.
The Christian armour is necessary in this battle against "spiritual" wickedness in high places. As such each of us need to investigate carefully the recommendations made of the Armour that we need to put on.
Why does a Christian need a sword in order to "stand and withstand in the evil day" when Christ warns that "all who live by the sword will perish by the sword" (Matt. 26:52)? What is the difference between the “sword of the Spirit” (Eph. 6:17) and Christ’s sword mentioned in Revelation 2:12, 16; 19:11-16? What is the difference in meaning between the Greek words, “logos” and “rhema” as they relate to the Word of God? Which word is used to describe the “sword of the Spirit”? How is the Word of God practically used like a sword?
Why does a Christian need a helmet? What is the helmet protecting? How does salvation protect the head? Why does Paul instruct the "saints at Ephesus" to "put on the helmet of salvation" if they are already "saved"? What is the difference between the brain and the mind? How does the "blessed hope" in Messiah's return change your mind and motivate you to persevere through life's tribulations?
In 2007 the congregation read through "The Message" New Testament by Eugene Peterson. This lesson is taken from the assigned reading from Apr 29-May 5.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
13. Our righteousness is worthless in the battle. We need to get our eyes off of ourselves and back on the provision of the cross and the righteousness that is found in a relationship with Jesus .
14.
15. Breastplate of Righteousness Romans 8:1-3 1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God [did] by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh.

27. Faith is something you believe and confess even if you cannot understand it. Ps 33:20 (NIV) We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.
35. Helmet of Salvation Our hope is in the salvation of the Lord -- not only in His initial salvation from the penalty of sin, -- but also in His continuing salvation from the power of sin and the attacks of the devil. Ps 140:7 (NAS) "O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation [Yeshua], You have covered my head in the day of battle."
36. Helmet of Salvation 2 Cor 10:3-5 (NRS) Indeed, we live as human beings, but we do not wage war according to human standards; for the weapons of our warfare are not merely human, but they have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every proud obstacle raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ .
37. Helmet of Salvation The Helmet of salvation guards the mind. This helmet can also be called the "hope of salvation," as Paul said: "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation " (I Thessalonians 5:8).
38. Helmet of Salvation Fill our minds and hearts with Your Word, so that the enemy's attempts to get our minds on the things of this world will fail. Why do we as Christians need to cover our heads (or minds) with the helmet of salvation? Romans 12:2
