Facilitation of arts education research means helping participants work together towards a common goal, with the learner at the center. It involves three dimensions: scientific research, art-based research where art is used to explore ideas, and research-based learning where students engage in inquiry. The facilitator's role is to step aside and empower participants as facilitators themselves, integrating a research perspective into their regular work to advance the field.
