This is an opportunity to join a Rolling Stock manufacturing / modification company in a senior role
to ensure all Mechanical Designs conform to Railway approvals and standards
The mix of skills and experience we have been asked to find are
 Fundamental background in Stress Calculations on structures and welds
 Qualified to Degree level in Mechanical Engineering
 Production of Structural Analysis and calculations
 Manage the work allocation to ensure Design deadlines are met
 Lead Mechanical Design Engineers to ensure Design deadlines are met
 Liaise with internal departments, Rail customers and relevant design authorities
 A track record in producing - Specifications, Drawings, Manufacturing information, for the
production and modification of Locomotives, Rolling Stock, Wheel Sets and Bogies and
equipment.
As this company work on a global basis there will sometimes be a need to attend meetings in the UK
and overseas.
