This document provides information for seniors about end of year activities and deadlines. It discusses the following: - The last day of school is May 24 and senior dinner is May 25. Graduation will be May 29 at 2:00 PM. - Digital learning courses must be completed by deadlines or students will not graduate. C-TEC students must also meet deadlines. - Service learning hours must be completed and paperwork submitted by deadlines or students will lose parking privileges. - The commencement speaker application deadline is May 3rd with presentations on May 16th. - Students should report any college scholarships to be recognized at graduation ceremonies. - Today, May 1st, is the school's signing day

- 2. End of theyear information (letter goes home Mon.) Last day: 5/24 *Senior Dinner: Wednesday, May 25 between 6 and 6:30 at Newark Metropolitan Hotel. Reservations and $5 deposit due to Ms. McMillen by May 9 at 8 am. Friday, May 27: Breakfast at 8:00, practice at 9:00. Plan on being done at 12! Sunday, May 29: Graduation at 2:00, lined up by 1:15.

Correspondence courses / Digital Options courses: The final grade must be posted online and you need to have passed the course(s) to get the appropriate credits or you will not graduate with your class. C-TEC: Not done by May 20? You’ll be expected at LVHS on May 23 at 7:30 am and you’ll be here every day, all day, until they are done. LVHS: Here from Wednesday, May 24 every day all day until they are done. Service learning: Must be complete in order to graduate. Not turned in by May 13? Lose LVHS parking privileges. Done: 2 page paper, hours signed off, approved by guidance office

- 5. College scholarship information Everyyear at commencement / awards ceremonies we honor students who have received scholarships and financial awards and publicize them. If you have received scholarships / awards and we don’t know about it, tell us! FILL OUT YOUR NAVIANCE SURVEY: Naviance.com by MAY 6th E-mail Shelly Wood or our counselors with questions.
- 6. Signing day #LVSigningDay istoday -- Started last year as our way of publicizing college / technical school choices on National Signing Day, May 1. Tweet your decisions today using the hashtag #LVSigningDay !
- 7. Awards ceremonies Whole schoolceremony May 17th at 1:00 pm. C-TEC students invited. Senior Awards Ceremony May 22nd at 7:00 pm. By invitation.
- 8. Information about yourGoogle account & netbook You need to create another Google account and transfer the Google docs you want to keep to that account: Google account goes away August 1, 2016! Docs: Group docs into folders, share with your other Google account. File > Make a copy to save them. G-mail: Set up forwarding, transition outside accounts to new e-mail. LVHS Seniors are keeping netbooks if you want them. The process >> Hand in netbook on your last day. No netbook, no grad practice >> no grad. Tell us: Yes or No, Chrome or Windows.
