TIER 2 & TIER 3 Re-assessment and Flexible 
Deadline Rules tighten restrictions on re-dos 
and flexible deadlines. 
● Using flexible deadlines impacts C&CR 
scores. 
● Teachers will use the “Incomplete” more 
often. 
● Teachers have discretion to reduce or 
eliminate deadline flexibility.
Graduation changes 
● Commencement honors this year: 
○ Recognition of graduates… (Latin honors system) 
■ Cum Laude (3.50+) 
■ Magna Cum Laude (3.75+) 
■ Summa Cum Laude (4.00+) 
○ Graduation speaker(s) chosen through process 
■ Through OCT: Take student, parent, community 
input 
■ By DEC: Process created 
■ FEB: Process is board-approved 
■ MAY: Speaker(s) chosen
