It discusses the differences between UC and CSU admission requirements, options for attending community college or a private university, upcoming workshops for completing application forms, important testing dates, and useful websites. Students are reminded to continue working hard through the end of senior year to avoid having their college admissions revoked due to "senioritis".

5. UC/CSU Admission
Requirements
SAT/ACT Testing
You should have already taken the SAT and/or ACT at least once by now.
If you are applying to UC’s you should have already taken the SAT Subject Tests.
If you are applying to impacted CSU campuses, you must take the SAT and/or ACT
regardless of your GPA. Some impacted campuses require testing to be completed by
November. Check websites for specific campus requirements.

6. Ventura Community College
If you are planning on attending VC, we will
take you to the college and help you get
registered in the Spring.
IMPORTANT: You CANNOT transfer to a
UC or CSU without completing 60 transferable
units. This generally means TWO YEARS (or
MORE) of community college before you can
transfer.

7. Private
college/university
If you are planning on attending a
private college/university YOU need
to find all info on your own.
