INTRODUCTION
 Google glass is the leading wearable technology in today’s market.
 Google glass is a headset that should be wear like a pair of eye
glasses.
 It has a small prism like screen tucked into the upper corner of the
frame that constantly plugged into e-mails , calls and various other
notifications.
 It also has a capacitive touch pad to navigate through all the apps .

EXISTING SYSTEM
 Google glass is a normal eye wear, inside the right arm are the
Smartphone processor, bluetooth radio, small battery and more.
 The glasses pair with the phone to get the connectivity.
 Using the Android MyGlass app , connection can be configured
and even use a screen cast feature.
 Possible to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while using this
device
 The right side of the glass has a 5 mega pixel camera to take the
photos.

DISADVANTAGES
 There is a high chance of breach in privacy by the person who is
using this device.
 The current power source provided by google is extremely weak
and will requires constant charging.
 Can be easily broken or damaged. Users will have a tough time
taking care of it.
 Privacy is one of the issue that are currently faced by the google.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
 User Authentication
 Locking Approach
 Notification Approach
 Physical security Approach
 Government security Approach
2014
10
ADVANTAGES
 Improved prototype glass that can protect the privacy and enhance
the device.
 LED is positioned next to the camera , so that others can notify
that the camera has been used.
 The google allowed the owner to use the MAC address to track the
device when it has been stolen.
 Google had developed sensors that would prohibit the usage of
glasses in specific areas.

METHODOLOGY (CONTD..)
12
METHODOLOGY CONTD………
 One method is by using the capacitive touch pad along the right
side of the glass.
 Swiping the finger horizontally allow to navigate the menus on the
device.
 A microphone on the glass picks up voice and the microprocessor
interprets the commands.
 The glass uses a bone conduction transducer to output the audio
for the user.
 The glass contains various sensors such as Gyroscope, an
Accelerator , ambient light sensor.

 Electronic environments that are sensitive and
responsive to the presence of people.
 Devices work in concert to support people in carrying
out their everyday life activities.
 The technology disappears into our surroundings until
only the user interface remains perceivable by users.
AMBIENT INTELLIGENCE
18
EyeTap is a device that is worn in front of the eye that acts
as an eye to record the scene available to the eye as well
as a display.

CONCLUSION
 Improving our way of life by developing applications that can
improve our communication as well as help with common
everyday tasks is the goal behind every novel technology.
 It may truly be the start of a new generation as it was the
Smartphone was introduced.
 This truly is the gadget of the future.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
 Most of the current excitement about google glass is about the
point of view photos and videos.
 Google is planning to partner up with an optical lens
manufacturing company to provide google glass with already
fixed optical lens.
 It can also let those who are paralyzed surf the web and
communicate.
