Semantic Web& Libraries - IFLA 2010
The document discusses the transition from the traditional "Web of Documents" to the "Web of Data" through the use of semantic technologies like Linked Data. It provides examples of how governments and media organizations like the BBC have begun publishing their data as Linked Data to enrich content and enable new applications and experiences.
