What does seller coach help our sellers do ?
A first step to help our sellers become fully autonomous
The price battle represents a list of products
where the seller does not have the optimal
price compared to competitors. This is based
on either the price of the competitors who
have the Buy Box or Jumia’s own screening
of the prices of popular products in the market
The replenishment battle, represents a list
of products where JUMIA Seller has low
coverage or is out of stock based on the sales
of this products during the last 30 days

What does seller coach help our sellers do ?
A first step to help our sellers become fully autonomous
The content battle provides the seller with
a list of products which have a low content
score and have a low chance of attracting
the customer
The sponsored product battle provides
the seller with a list of products where it would
be worth investing Sponsored Product credit.
These products tend to convert well but they
need more traffic!

on pricing ?

The price of the item which has won the Buy Box
(see details of what the Buy Box is in following pages)
There will be very few pricing recommendations for fashion items,
as very few of them belong to a Market Place Group
If the product is deduplicated, this will take the price of the product with the Buy Box and take
2% fromit
If there is no Buy Box, then we take the lowest price that this product has ever had in the past
months
If the price is already at an all time low, we will recommend to reduce the price by 5%
Sellers who do not have the Buy Box have less
visibility and only 10 % chance of getting a sale
This orange box is given only for the seller who
offers the best price ,especially in the case of
product duplication
Also the buy box enables you to show the seller
info on the right, which means more Visibility
to your Store not only this product
