The Sefeko system allows for real-time guard monitoring through online software and patrol hardware. Guards carry handheld units equipped with GPS, RFID, and GSM technologies to track their location and scan tags along patrol routes. Any issues are alerted via SMS or email. Managers can access reports and maps to oversee guard activities from any internet-connected device.

WhatisSefeko?
Sefeko is a Real-time Guard Monitoring System that consists of Online Software and Patrol Hardware.
The system provides a means to monitor guards in the performance of their duties as well as additional safety precautions
such as panics and alerts when guards are under threat.
Guards are equipped with Sefeko handheld units that they carry with them when patrolling a route. This Patrol Hardware
makes use of quad-band GSM technology to receive voice calls and to communicate in real-time with the Sefeko Web Based
Monitoring Software. It uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to scan small round tags placed along a Guard
Route and GPS technology to relay tracking and location information on Security Personnel.
Real-time guard route information is processed by the Sefeko server to alert managers about any problems detected. Problem
notifications (alerts) are sent via SMS or e-mail and the system sends daily, weekly and monthly guard activity reports via
e-mail.
Reliable Sefeko patrol hardware and Sefeko web-based server software allows you to configure, monitor and manage your
Guard Patrols in real time from any device with a web browser and internet access: office PC, home PC, laptop, tablet or
smart-phone.
Both the GPS Patrol Hardware and the Online Monitoring and Management Software were designed and developed in
South Africa by Sefeko (Pty) Ltd (Registration number: 2003/010592/07)
