Some will see food on their table yet the fail to eat it and when you are ask them why, they tell you that they don't know is there's yet they fail to ask whether is there's or not since the food where put on their table while they where they. What do you think is the cause of this? Is not inaction? Because if they where action takers they could have being curious enough to ask whether is there's or not. If you agree with me then follow me let’s see what happens to such people when such opportunity is taking away from them!
2. In this part of the world, people can pray. They even pray
when all they need do is to take action. How? Let’s
check these:
A mother was about going to the market; she prepared her
child’s food and left it in on top of a kitchen cupboard.
That had been the usual practice for the child to be able to
take the food when he comes back from school. But, on
this particular day he was taught in class to pray to have
whatsoever he desired. He got home as usual, he did not
check the usual place for his food but instead chose to
pray for God to provide food for him.
He was famished and slept off. The mother came back
and saw the food where she kept it untouched. She woke
the child and saw that he was tired and very hungry. The
woman asked why he refused to take his food. The child
said: mother, I was praying to have my food. The mother
said: My child, what do you want God to do? The food
was there for you to eat, all you need do was to carry it
and eat but you failed to do your part.
A faithful maid of a rich man was left a cheque of $10m
from her master’s will. She laminated the cheque and
hung it on the wall because she was ignorant of its
purpose. When her friends visited they also admired the
laminated cheque (ignorant friends). The lady was in
poverty until a learned friend told her of the purpose.
3. Thereafter, she was bailed out of her poverty. (Can you
imagine?)
A man promised his only son that he would give him a car
and enough money to start his own business if he would
finish well his university education. The young man
completed the first degree well, and the father fulfilled his
promise. But the father played a game; he kept the car
key and a $5m cheque in a book.
He wrapped the book and presented the boy. The boy
opened the gift and saw ‘just a book’. He was furious, he
packed his bags and baggages and left home. He went to
another town to start fending for himself. He was always
praying to have a breakthrough so that he can put his
father to shame. He met an old man one day, and narrated
the story of his life and how his father failed to fulfill his
promise to him.
The old man was wise; he asked the young man if he ever
bothered to open the book he unwrapped. His answer was
negative. The man advised him to go back home and
open the book. He followed the advice, and you should
know what followed.
Friends,
4. You have seeing what happen here today, you have seeing
that nothing happened to them until they took action. That
should tell you that most of the things we cry for, pray for
or blame people for are actually happening because there
is something we don’t know or should do that we aren’t
doing. Instead of blaming God, crucifying ourselves or
others, why not find solution; why not ask questions or
help? Why not make a move? Or don’t you know that in
every positive move you make there is always an
encounter. Don’t you know that if you hadn’t made that
move that day you couldn’t have seeing that your wife,
husband, friend, job, business idea, or anything that
changed your life. Don’t you know you are living another
opportunity unground. How they you do that. I never
knew I could have people to partner with me to do a
business until I made that move. What about you? Are
you still living on blaming God or others? As for me am
not blaming anybody, am doing it myself, even if I fail in
doing it I fail. So do yourself a favor and…
Play your role!
That is what you should be doing instead of doing
nothing.
To know more about playing your role and reaping from
it, it might be a wise move to look into this: Is called
