the wall as a source of comfort.The fact that thissmall aspecthas beenmentionedwithinthe novel
makesme assume it’sa commonconventionwithinanyhouseholdasIknow it iswithinmine,
therefore thisissomethingthatIwant to reflectwithinmysequenceinordertoprovide thatsame
nostalgicfeeling. The settingof the novel revolvesaroundourcharactershometownandthe places
that matterthe most to them;since mysequence willbe revolving aroundasimilarsituation,the

life- it’saveryconventionalbooksthatconveysall the stereotypesof beingateenager.Thisranges
fromher descriptionof herbedroom,toherlittle sisterandevenhercat.These are all aspectsthat I
wantto symbolize withinmyownsequence throughimagery,hence the mentionof thrownclothes
on the floorand petsmentionedwithinmyproposal.Iwanttorecreate that stereotype that
audience have become accustomedtoas well asexpectfromthisgenre- predictionis whatcause
themto watch the moviesagainandagain,it’swhattheyenjoy,meaningit’saneasywayforme to

action.It’sa tool that bothfilmmakersandauthorshave usedfor
yearsin orderto attract there demographicsandtherefore Ineed
to ensure thatthe visualsandrepresentationswithinmyown
sequence are associable andfollow closelytothe above
conventions.
