Why are there
seasons
 The earth moves around the sun. As it
  moves the seasons change.
 Summer is long Because you have a very
  limited experience with the world. Around
  the equator, the days and nights are about
  the same - yes, all year long!
 Summer days are longer, which is why it
  doesnt get dark until later. But each day the
  day gets shorter. Which is why we change
  the time. We start to lose daylight as the
  year goes on. So yes. Summer days are
  longer than wonter days.
