Navy Seals undergo extensive schooling and training to prepare them for missions that include direct action, special reconnaissance, counterterrorism, and training allies. They are stationed at bases in Hawaii, Virginia, and California and use weapons like machine guns, sniper rifles, assault rifles, and shotguns. In the future, Navy Seals may need additional training on advanced technology and could use exoskeletons or other equipment to enhance their abilities.

Generating a custom Ruby SDK for your web service or Rails API using Smithyg2nightmarescribd
Have you ever wanted a Ruby client API to communicate with your web service? Smithy is a protocol-agnostic language for defining services and SDKs. Smithy Ruby is an implementation of Smithy that generates a Ruby SDK using a Smithy model. In this talk, we will explore Smithy and Smithy Ruby to learn how to generate custom feature-rich SDKs that can communicate with any web service, such as a Rails JSON API.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. LF Energy Webinar: Electrical Grid Modelling and Simulation Through PowSyBl -...DanBrown980551
Do you want to learn how to model and simulate an electrical network from scratch in under an hour?
Then welcome to this PowSyBl workshop, hosted by Rte, the French Transmission System Operator (TSO)!
During the webinar, you will discover the PowSyBl ecosystem as well as handle and study an electrical network through an interactive Python notebook.
PowSyBl is an open source project hosted by LF Energy, which offers a comprehensive set of features for electrical grid modelling and simulation. Among other advanced features, PowSyBl provides:
- A fully editable and extendable library for grid component modelling;
- Visualization tools to display your network;
- Grid simulation tools, such as power flows, security analyses (with or without remedial actions) and sensitivity analyses;
The framework is mostly written in Java, with a Python binding so that Python developers can access PowSyBl functionalities as well.
What you will learn during the webinar:
- For beginners: discover PowSyBl's functionalities through a quick general presentation and the notebook, without needing any expert coding skills;
- For advanced developers: master the skills to efficiently apply PowSyBl functionalities to your real-world scenarios.
Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

3. Introduction To Navy Seals
A Navy Seal is a person with advanced military training used to protect
American citizens all over the world. In the future a Navy Seal will need
more training and understanding of advanced technology to protect
Americans. The Navy Seal are the deadliest military branch of the 5
branches the United States. Navy Seals are trained for Sea, Air, and Land.
President Obama sent Seal Team 6 to Afghanistan, to kill Osama Bin
Laden who killed many innocent Americans.
4. Schooling
A Navy Seal has to do 6 steps to become a Navy Seal. “Step 1: Naval Special
Warfare Preparatory school” (Navy SEAL Overview). Step 2: Basic
Orientation – An Introduction To BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition).
Step 3: First Phase – Basic conditioning. Stage 4: Second Phase – Combat
Diving. Stage 5: Third Phase – Land Warfare Training. Stage 6: Seal
Qualification Training.
5. What They Do
Seal Team 6 will take “direct action” (Navy SEAL Missions) or neutralizing
enemy forces. Special reconnaissance or observe and report. Counter
terrorism or eliminating threats. Foreign internal defense or training
allies.
6. Weapons And Uniforms
A Navy Seal uses these weapons M136 AT4CS anti-tank rocket, M224 60mm
mortar, M203 Grenade Launcher, and a Benelli M4 Super 90 with
Aimpoint Optic Shotgun. Machine Guns: Mk 48 Mod 1, Mk 46 Mod 0
(5.56mm), M249 SAW, M240B, Mk 43 Mod 0, M60E3, and a HK MP5
Submachine Gun. Sniper Rifles: Barrett M82A1, Mk 14 Mod 0 EBR, Mk 11
Mod 0/SR-25, and a M14. Assault Rifles: M4A1 SOPMOD and a FN SCAR-
L/Mk 16. Handguns: MK23 Mod 0, and a SIG-Sauer P228. A Navy Seal
wears these uniforms service dress, full dress, dinner dress, service
uniform, and a battle dress.
7. Duty Stations
A Navy Seal is stationed at “Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, home of the Seal delivery
vehicle” (Navy SEAL Duty Stations). Little Creek, Virginia, home to Naval
Special Warfare East Coast operations. Coronado, California, home to the
Naval Special Warfare Center and BUD/S.
8. Transition
In the future a Navy Seal will need more physical training and understanding
of advanced weapons technology to protect Americans. They will still be
the deadliest group out of the 5 military groups.
9. Future Schooling/Training
The way technology is advancing, Navy Seals might have to learn how to use
bionics, such as an exoskeleton to make them super human.
10. Future Weapons
The Navy Seals might have rocket launchers, machine guns, and jet engines
on their exoskeletons. They just might have laser beams on their
exoskeletons.
11. Conclusion
The Navy Seals job may be changed by being more advanced. A benefit may
be that they could put a suit on and become superhuman.
