We have all attended training sessions in the past. Sometimes we observe that there is a lack of participation and interest in one case while in another case, for a similar topic, the participation and involvement level is very high. What differentiates the two scenarios? Is it just the content, delivery style, facilitation technique or something over and above all these. As change agents, we often have to deliver training and facilitate workshops for the stakeholders. Through this talk I want to introduce the topic of instructional systems design and the basic theory of how adults learn. I will also provide some winning tips for designing a great training program.
