The document provides 17 scripture passages about the blood of Jesus Christ and what it accomplishes. It summarizes that the blood provides victory over Satan, redemption through atonement, justification and reconciliation, salvation from judgement, purging of sins, and freedom and adoption as sons. Key points are that Jesus' blood provides atonement for sins, justification and cleansing from sins, and reconciles humanity to God by purchasing people with his blood.

An overview of the bible
Since the beginning of time, there has been a plan for Jesus and our souls. God’s plan is revealed throughout the entire Bible! Many view the Old and New Testaments as unrelated, but there is an amazing message that begins in the Old Testament and carries through to the New Testament. The message is of God’s love and man’s redemption. That is what this booklet is about. I hope it will be an encouragement to you.

The Significance of Being A Christian - Consecrated To GodRick Peterson
Consecrated To God is the fourth in a series of lessons on, "The Significance of Being A Christian." I found the outlines for this series of lessons at: http://executableoutlines.com/sig.htm
There are 7 very important things that happen in the waters of baptism, according to the Bible. Some churches call it "an outward sign of an inward experience", but do they really know just how rich that inward experience is? For believers in Jesus Christ to be baptized in water has been a common practice for thousands of years. Jesus commanded that His disciples baptize believers, and they did!
This is a study of Jesus being set forth as a propitiation. It is a deep and profound subject of theology, but some preachers make it easier to understand.
1st John 5:6-12
6 This is he who came by water and blood — Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree. 9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. 11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Every Kingdom has a culture. Its culture sets its citizens apart from other Kingdoms. Likewise, in this Kingdom of the dear son, we have a culture as citizens or disciples. Our Culture is called ''Continuing in the Word, pursuing intimacy with truth' As we uphold this culture, we know the truth and the truth we know sets us free. In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
VICTORY OVER SATAN IN THE BLOOD
1. Sembulo/Revelation 12:11
Siswati ‘Bamehlule ngengati yeliWundlu nangelivi lebufakazi babo, ngobe
abakutsandzanga kuphila kwabo kwaze kwabasekufeni.’
NKJV ‘ And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word
of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.’
LIFE AND ATONEMENT IN THE BLOOD:
The Death of Christ on the Cross, which was brought about by the shedding of His
Precious Blood, which means that in the shedding of His blood, His Life poured
out, is not only the means of Salvation, but in fact, the only means for Salvation.
The Lord says ‘I have given it to you upon the Altar to make an atonement for
your soul. Yes Atonement is God’s gift to man and it is only in the Blood of
Christ!
2. Levithikhusi /Leviticus 17:11
Siswati ‘Phela kuphila kwemtimba kusengatini; mine ngininike ingati kutsi
ifeze inkonzo yekuhlenga timphilo tenu etikwelilati. Ngobe yingati lefeza
inkonzo yekubuyisana nekuhlenga imphilo.’
NKJV ‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood : and I have given it to you
upon the Altar to make an Atonement for the soul’
3. Johane/John 6:53
Siswati ‘Jesu watsi kubo: ‘Ngicinisile, ngicinisile, ngitsi kini: Naningayidli
inyama yeNdvodzana yeMuntfu, ninatse nengati yayo, nite kuphila.’
NKJV ‘And Jesus said unto them ‘ Verily, Verily, I say unto you, Except you
eat the Flesh of the son of man, and drink His blood, you have no life in
you.’
SALVATION FROM JUDGEMENT THROUGH THE BLOOD:
This is, without doubt, one of the single most important Scriptures in the entirety
of the Word of God. The lamb had taken the fatal blow, and because of that, those
in the house would be spared. It was a matter of faith not of worthiness or good
works. You obeyed or died. All under the cover of the blood here were safe. God
did not say, ‘if I see you’ or ‘if I see your good works’ but he said, ‘When I see
the blood.’ Salvation from the ‘plague’ or judgement was on this basis not any
other! Likewise, we are saved not by the works which we have done, lest we
should boast but through Faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ!
4. Eksodusi/Eksodus 12:13
Siswati ‘Lengati iyawuba luphawu kini, kuletindlu lenititawube ningekhatsi
kwato. Nangibona lengati, ngiyakwengca, lesishayo singeke sehlele kini
nangijezisa emaGibhithe.’
3. SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
2
NKJV ‘And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where
you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall
not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
JUSTIFICATION BY THE BLOOD:
God has made peace with us by the Blood of Jesus Christ. Through our Faith on
His shed blood, God declares us righteous and reconciles us to Himself. We are
justified[acquitted, made right with God, declared righteous] by His Blood.
5. KubaseRoma/Romans 5:9
Siswati ‘Sesentiwe ngengati yaJesu semukeleka kuNkulunkulu kutsi
silungile, ngetulu kwaloko siyawusindziswa ngaye elulakeni lwaNkulunkulu.’
NKJV ‘Much more then, being now justified by His Blood, we shall be
saved from wrath through Him.’
6. KubaseKholose/Colossians 1:19-20
Siswati ‘Wasikhulula emandleni ebumnyama, wasibeka embusweni
weNdvodzana yakhe letsandzekako. Kuyo sinekuhlengwa lokukutsetselelwa
kwetono tetfu.
Kwakuyintsandvo nenjongo yaNkulunkulu kutsi ahlale kuJesu
ngebuNkulunkulu bakhe bonkhe, kuze kutsi ngaye abuyisane netintfo tonkhe
letisemhlabeni naletisezulwini, akhe kuthula ngengati yesiphambano
sakhe.’
NKJV ‘For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell. And,
having made peace through the Blood of His Cross, By Him to reconcile all
things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things
in Heaven.’
PURGING AND REMISSION OF SINS THROUGH THE BLOOD
7. KumaHebheru/Hebrews 9:22
Siswati ‘Empeleni, ngekwemtsetfo, cishe konkhe kuhlanjululwa ngengati;
ngaphandle kwekucitfwa kwengati kute kutsetselelwa kwetono.’
NKJV ‘And almost all things are by the Law purged with blood, and
without the shedding of blood is no remission.’
REDEMPTION AND FORGIVENESS OF SINS THROUGH THE BLOOD:
8. KubaseFesu/Ephesians 1:7-8
Siswati ‘Ngengati yaJesu sinekuhlengwa nekutsetselelwa kwetono,
ngekwengcebo yemusa, Nkulunkulu lasipha wona, waze waphuphuma.
Ngekuhlakanipha nekucondza kwakhe.’
NKJV ‘ In Whom we have Redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness
of sins, according to the riches of His Grace; Wherein He has abounded
toward us in all wisdom and prudence.’
4. SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST

9. KubaseRoma/Romans 3:24-25
Siswati ‘Kodvwa ngesipho samahhala semusa waNkulunkulu bonkhe bentiwe
bemukeleka kuye kutsi balungile ngekuhlengwa lokukuKrsitu Jesu.
Nkulunkulu wamnkikela kutsi abe yinhlawulo ngengati yakhe; lenhlawulo ke
yemukeleka ngekukholwa. Ngalendlela Nkulunkulu sewubonakalise kulunga
kwakhe ngekutsi ngaJesu ahlawule tono letatentiwa kadzeni Nkulunkulu
angakatehluleli,’
NKJV ‘Being justified freely by His Grace through the Redemption that
is in Christ Jesus:Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through Faith
is His blood, to declare His Righteousness for the remission of sins that are
past, through the forbearance of God.’
REDEMPTION:
To redeem means ‘to purchase.’ When Christ died for our sins, He paid the price that
satisfied the demands of God’s holiness. The price of redemption was the blood of Christ. In
explaining redemption to the Galatians, Paul used three different words that were applied to
purchasing servants at the ancient slave markets:
I. Agorazo: ‘to purchase in the market,’ is used to explain how Christ paid the
redemption price of His blood, which was sufficient to purchase every one
‘sold under sin’[Galatian 3:10, 2 Peter 2:1]
II. Ekagorazo: ‘to purchase and take home,’ emphasizes that Christians have
been purchased out of the marketplace and are no longer for sale. [Galatians
3:13]
III. Lutroo : ‘to purchase and give freedom and to confer sonship,’ emphasizes the
liberty that belongs to a soul redeemed by God. Through Christ believers have
become God’s sons by adoption [Galatians 4:5] The Christian is encourage to
stand fast in that liberty[Galatians 5:1]
REDEEMED BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST:
Agorazo: Purchased by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ from the marketplace
of slavery under sin. We were completely sold out because of our failure to keep
the entire Law. But Jesus has graciously, given His own Blood at the Cross as
ransom for our sin and has paid for our freedom! O Hallelujah, praised be the
Lord for the Blood!
10. 1 Phetro/1 Peter 1:18-20
Siswati ‘Nati kutsi nahlengwa ngani ekuhambeni kenu lokwakulite,
lenakunikwa bokhokho. Anihlengwanga ngetintfo letigugako njengesiliva
negolide; Kodvwa nahlengwa ngengati leligugu yeliWundlu lelinguKristu,
lelingenacala nalelingenasici. Yena watinchanti, live lisengakasekelwa,
kodvwa wabonakaliswa kuletikhatsi kuletikhatsi tekugcina ngenca yenu.’
NKJV ‘Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with
corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation[vain

lifestyle] received by tradition from your fathers. But with the Precious
Blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot. Who verily
was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these
last times for you.’
11. Sembulo/Revelatians 5:9-10
Siswati ‘Kwahlatjelwa ingoma lensha letsi:Ufanele wena Kuyitsatsa
lencwadzi legocotiwe, ufanelefutsi kuticatulula netimphawu tayo, yebo, ngobe
wena wahlatjwa, ngengati yakho wahlawulela bantfu kuNkulunkulu.
Labantfu bachamuka emindenini yonkhe, nasetilimini tonkhe, nasetiveni
tonkhe, nasemaveni onkhe.’
NKJV ‘And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the Book,
and to open the seals thereof for You were slain, and have redeemed us to
God by Your Blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
and have made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the
earth.’
12. Imisebenti yebaPostoli/Acts 20:28
Siswati ‘Ticapheleni nine kanye nemhlambi wonkhe lobekwe etandleni tenu
nguMoya Longcwele, neluse libandla laNkulunkulu latitsengela lona
ngengati yendvodzana yakhe.’
NKJV ‘Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the Flock, over which
the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the Church of God[tend as a
shepherd], which He has purchased with His own Blood.’
13. 1 KubaseKhorinte/ 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Siswati ‘Anati yini kutsi umtimba wenu ulithempeli laMoya Longcwele
lohlala kini, lenamemukela kuNkulunkulu, nekutsi futsi anisibo benu? Nine
nibaNkulunkulu, natsengwa ngelinani lelikhulu. Ngako-ke Mdvumiseni
Nkulunkulu emitimbeni yenu.’
NKJV ‘What? Do you not know that your body is the Temple of the Holy
Spirit which dwell in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?
For you are bought with a price: therefore Glorify God in your body, and in
your spirit, which are God’s.
RECONCILIATION THROUGH THE BLOOD:
Ekagorazo: to Purchase and take home. The blood of Jesus buys us back home. It
reconciles us to our Father. It takes us back to fellowship with God where we fell
from.
The sacrificial Atoning Death of Jesus Christ transformed the relations of God and
mankind. In Christ, God reconciled not a nation, but ‘the World’ to himself
through the Blood shed which atoned for sin.
14. KubaseFesu/Ephesians 2:12-13
6. SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
5
Siswati ‘Nikhumbule nekutsi ngaleto tikhatsi benehlukanisiwe naKrsitu,
ningephandle kwembuso waka-Israyeli, nitihambi letite sabelo
etivumelwaneni tesetsembiso, nite litsemba, nite naNkulunkulu emhlabeni.
Kodvwa nyalo nine benikadze nikhashane naNkulunkulu senimunye
kuKrsitu Jesu. Senisondzetwe kuKristu Jesu. Senisondzetwe ngengati
yaJesu.
NKJV ‘ That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the
commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of Promise, having
no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus you who
sometimes were far off are made nigh[near] by the Blood of Christ.
15. KubaseGalathiya/Galatians 3:13
Siswati ‘Khristu wasihlenga esicalekisweni lesasiletfwe ngumtsetfo,
ngekutsi abe sicalekiso endzaweni yetfu; ngobe kubhaliwe kutsi: ‘Ucalekisiwe
wonkhe umuntfu lolenga emtsini.’
NKJV ‘ Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a
curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.’
FREEDOM THROUGH THE BLOOD:
Lutroo:Freedom from bondage and Adoption to sonship!
16. Kumahebheru/Hebrews 10:19-20
Siswati ‘Ngako-ke, bazalwane, ingati yaJesu isikhululile kutsi singangena

NKJV ‘ Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the Holiest by the
Blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which He has consecrated for us,
through the Veil, that is to say, His flesh.’
17. Sembulo/Revelation 1:5-6
Siswati ‘NakuJesu Kristu, fakazi lowetsembekile, litubulo lalabafile nembusi
wemakhosi onkhe emhlaba. Kuye, lositsandzako nalowasikhulula etonweni

NKJV ‘ And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful Witness and the first
begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Him who loved
us from our sins in His Own blood, and has made us kings and priests unto
God and His Father; to Him be Glory and Dominion forever and ever. Amen.’
18. KubaseGalathiya/Galatians 4:5
Siswati ‘Khona itebahlawulela labo labangephansi kwemtsetfo, kuze natsi
semukeleke njengemadvodzana.’
KJV ‘To redeem them that were under the Law, that we might receive the
adoption of sons.’
STANDING FAST IN THE LIBERTY CHRIST HAS PURCHASED FOR US THROUGH HIS BLOOD:
7. SCRIPTURES ABOUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
6
For freedom Christ freed us. Therefore we are to stand fast[retain our spiritual
freedom] and do not again be subject to the yoke of bondage. The yoke of
bondage in view here is freedom from the Law, here called ‘a yoke of bondage.
19. KubaseGalathiya/Galatians 5:1
Siswati ‘Khristu wasikhululela kutsi sihlale sikhululekile. Manini-ke,
nicine, ningaphindzi niboshelwe ejokeni lebugcili.’
KJV ‘Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us
free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage’
CLEANSING BY THE BLOOD:
Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, we were reconciled to God[Positional
Sanctification], and now enjoy fellowship as a result of that unity through the
Blood of Jesus Christ shed for us on Calvary. Not only have we been re-united
with God through the blood, the shed blood of Jesus Christ constantly cleanses us
from all sin. This is termed progressive sanctification. The Holy Spirit through
the Word of God shows us our wrong[Reproof/conviction] then when we confess
it, God cleanses us by the Blood of Jesus. It is confessed sin that is cleansed.
20. 1Johane/1 John 1:7
Siswati ‘Kodvwa nasihamba ekukhanyeni, sinebudlelwane lomunye
nalomunye, nengati yaJesu, iNdvodzana yakhe, iyasihlanta kubo konkhe
kona.’
NKJV ‘ But if we walk in the Light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship
one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from
all sin.’
21. Sembulo/Revelation 7:14
Siswati ‘Ngatsi kulo: ‘nguwe lobatiko.’Lase litsi kimi: ‘Laba-ke ngibo

yeliWundllu.’
NKJV ‘And I said unto him, sir, you know. And he said unto me, These are
they which came out from great tribulation, and have washed their robes,
and made them white in the blood of the Lamp.’
GRACE AND PEACE THROUGH THE BLOOD:
God saw ahead that he would send a savior to redeem man from the fall; all who
accept the savior are the ‘Elect’. We’re elected to be Sanctified by the Holy Spirit
on the basis of the Finished work of Christ where our faith must reside: on the
Shed blood of Jesus Christ for our Salvation. Both Grace and Peace come through
the Cross, and will continue to multiply as long as our Faith is firmly anchored in
the Cross of Christ.
22. 1 Phetro/1 Peter 1:2

Jesus, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the
Everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His Will,
working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ;
to Whom be Glory forever and ever. Amen.’
24. Lukha/Luke 22:20

‘Lendzebe sivumelwane lesisha sengati yami lecitselwe nine.’

Testament in My blood, which is shed for you.’

The blood of Abel cried for vengeance. But the blood of Jesus cries for
Redemption.

isiphatsele lokukhulu kunengati ya-Abela.’

sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.’
26. KumaHebheru/Hebrews 9:12
Siswati ‘Wangena kanye kwenela endzaweni lengcwelengcwele, angakaphatsi
ingati yetimbuti neyematfole, kodvwa aphetse ingati yakhe lucobo, kungako
nje asizuzela kuhlengwa kwaphakadze.’
NKJV ‘Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His Own Blood He
entered in once into the Holy place, having obtained Eternal Redemption
for us.’
