Have you heard someone telling you to forget about your past?
You tried and still, memories take you there? Only the blood of Jesus can clean your conscience and your memories.
3. HEBREWS 9:13-14 (NKJV)
• 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a
heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying
of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without
spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to
serve the living God?
4. •Matthew 17:2 (NKJV)
•2 and He was transfigured before them. His face
shone like the sun, and His clothes became as
white as the light.
5. The moment the shed blood of Christ has
been applied to our hearts;
our past is buried!
It is gone forever and is no longer
remembered in Heaven.
TO LIVE IN THE PAST, IS TO MAKE THE
BLOOD OF CHRIST POWERLESS..
7. GOD JUSTIFIES US
• Standing before God Almighty, where God is the Judge.
• His Holiness is overwhelming.
• You are trembling.
• God says: You are guilty. You wait for the sentence.
• God says again: You are guilty, but I declare you are righteous. Your
punishment is waived.
• The waiving of our guilt is called JUSTIFICATION!
• God gives a new standing with a clean sheet.
• God declares us righteous because od what Jesus has done
8. ROMANS 3:25-26 (NKJV)
• 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood,
through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because
in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that
were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the
present time His righteousness, that He might be just and
the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
9. • Romans 5:9 (NKJV)
• 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His
blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
• Jesus shed blood saves us from the wrath poured by God over sin.
10. FORGIVENESS, THE FIRST STEP FOR A
GLORIOUS LIFE
Forgiveness
•When God forgives
our sins, we are
stripped of the dirty
and stinking rags of
our sins
Justification
•With justification God
Cloths us with the
glory and beauty Of
Christ Jesus
11. • If we do not understand what the blood does for us, we
cannot leave the wonderful life that God has for each one
of us who believe in His Son Jesus Christ the Messiah.
• Forgiveness is a precious gift of God through His Son.
• So many believers are just contempt with been save
• But God does not leave us just there
12. HEBREWS 10:21-22 (NKJV)
The memory of our past cannot be
erased just by our decision.
We cannot get rid of a sinful life by just
saying I will forgive about my past.
God said that He will purge us. The blood
will purge our conscience completely.
Not just our sins, but every thought that
relates with them.
The blood of Christ can cleanse your
mind from thoughts related with past
and present sins.
• 21 and having a High
Priest over the house of
God, 22 let us draw near
with a true heart in full
assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from
an evil conscience and our
bodies washed with pure
water.
13. IS YOUR CONSCIENCE ACCUSING YOU?
• An evil conscience is the one
that remembers yesterday sins
and tells you, “You are sinner.”
• However, God in heaven is saying
WELCOME!
• I have delivered you
from your iniquities.
• You are forgiven.
• The blood has made
you righteous.
• Some people believe that it is
impossible to stand before God
with the righteousness of Christ
• We become pure because the
blood of Jesus that is upon us in
pure, and so we become in God’s
eyes.
• The Lord cleanses our minds
from the past and present sins
15. HEBREWS 9:15 (NKJV)
•15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the
new covenant, by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions under the first
covenant, that those who are called may receive
the promise of the eternal inheritance.
• Mediator: a person who attempts to make people involved in a conflict come
to an agreement; a go-between.
• A third party – a mediator
16. • 1 Samuel (NKJV)
• 25 If one man sins against
another, God will judge
him. But if a man sins
against the Lord, who will
intercede for him?”
• In the Old Covenant,
the high priest was the
legal representative of the
people regarding spiritual
matters.
• He was the mediator
between God and the
people
17. • Romans 8:34 (NKJV)
• 34 Who is he who
condemns? It is Christ who
died, and furthermore is
also risen, who is even at
the right hand of God, who
also makes intercession for
us.
• In the New Covenant,
Christ is the high priest
through the shedding of
His blood.
• His blood gives Him the
authority to be our LEGAL
MEDIATOR IN HEAVEN,
representing us before the
Father
18. • Because Christ is our high
priest, sin cannot defeat us
in any way.
• Jesus, the ever-living high
priest is eternally living to
make intercession for us
• Hebrews 7:25 (NKJV)
• 25 Therefore He is also
able to save to the
uttermost those who come
to God through Him, since
He always lives to make
intercession for them.
19. • There is only one powerful
reason why just only Christ and
nobody else can be our third
party, a mediator.
• Because He is both,
GOD, and Man.
• He knows what a man is like,
he knows us through and
through because He lived as
one and was sinless.
• He knows how God is, because
HE IS GOD!
• Philippians 2:8 (NKJV)
• 8 And being found in
appearance as a man, He
humbled Himself and
became obedient to the
point of death, even the
death of the cross.
20. JOB 33:23-24 (NKJV)
23 “If there is a messenger
for him, A mediator, one
among a thousand, To show
man His uprightness, 24
Then He is gracious to him,
and says, ‘Deliver him from
going down to the Pit; I
have found a ransom’;
• Prophetically Job was
pointing to Christ the
Messiah.
The one that says come to
me

the way, the truth, and the
life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me.
22. • 1 John 2:1 (NKJV)
• 2 My little children, these
things I write to you, so
that you may not sin. And
if anyone sins, we have an
Advocate with the Father,
Jesus Christ the righteous.
• The scriptures show us that Christ
is OUR MEDIATOR.
• But He is not only that. He is
OUR ADVOCATE! The one that
pleads and upholds our cases
before the Father.
• Jesus does not plead the case of
sinners. He pleads only for hearts
where the blood has been
applied.
23. HEBREWS 10:19-22 (NKJV)
• 19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the
Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way
which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His
flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God,
22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience
and our bodies washed with pure water.
24. • God has prepared four
things for us:
• “The Holiest” or most holy
place. The place where
God dwells.
• The blood of Jesus.
• A new and living way
• A high priest
• Responding to God, we
need to “draw near” with:
• A true heart.
• Full assurance of faith.
• Hearts sprinkled from an evil
conscience.
• Bodies washed with pure
water.
25. • Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV)
• 16 Let us therefore come
boldly to the throne of
grace, that we may obtain
mercy and find grace to
help in time of need.
• The blood of Jesus has
removed our timidity to
come to God.
• The shed blood of Jesus
gives us the confidence to
approach the Throne of
God.
26. • Acts 4:13 (NKJV)
13 Now when they saw the
boldness of Peter and John,
and perceived that they
were uneducated and
untrained men, they
marveled. And they realized
that they had been with
Jesus.
• The blood of Jesus gives us
boldness to reach the lost.
• Our boldness will be a
testimony that we have
been with Jesus
27. • Hebrews 9:15
• …that those who are called
may receive the promise of
the eternal inheritance
• The power of the blood of Jesus
guaranteed our eternal inheritance.
• Galatians 3:29 (NKJV)
• 29 And if you are Christ’s, then
you are Abraham’s seed, and
heirs according to the promise.
• It is Christ blood that brought us into
the family of God, made us children of
God, in that way we became eternal
heirs of all the promises of God!
