SCENE 1 - "INTRODUCTION"
This scene is going to include the title of the short film
and who is producing it, which is me.
(Diegetic sound - opening music for the credits)
SCENE 2 - "MORNING ROUTINE"
The first scene is showing her morning routine. The first
thing she does is body check, then puts baggy clothes on. She
skips breakfast but looks at food even though she's not going
to eat.
(Internal diegetic sound of her thoughts)
"why do you look like that, wear baggy
clothes so no one sees how out of
control you are, eating breakfast is
not going to help you in this
position"
SCENE 3 - "MOTIVATION"
Any urge of hunger she distracts herself. Looks for weight
loss routines, what I eat in a day, images of her dream body.
Helps to remind her why she's doing this.
(Diegetic sound - playing music around the house, noises of
her laptop)
SCENE 4 - "TOXIC FREIND"
Making a toxic friend that you cannot let go of because she
is all you know. Everything she says you believe and you do
whatever she says because she is right?
(voice over of internal diegetic sound
- "fatty, starve yourself, everyone is
going to love you when your skinny,
you feel so much better feeling like
this, no one said being pretty was
going to be easy, beauty is a knife")
SCENE 5 - "NO GAIN = NO PAIN"
Start to exercise more than you ever have just to feel better
about yourself. You push yourself till you can't do anymore.

SCENE 6 - "CONTROLLING THOUGHTS"
You start eating low calorie snacks as the guilt is not as
bad. Control the amount of food, track calories, weight of
food.
(voice over of Internal diegetic sound
"You should eat that food that food is
low calories eat that if you want
food, you shouldn't really eat, think
of your goal weight and how you want
to look, do you really want to effect
your whole plan because you cannot
control yourself?, these cravings will
go soon don't cave in, drink water
instead.)
SCENE 7 - "RELATIONSHIPS CRASH"
She thinks it's just effecting her life but it is effecting
everyone she cares about. She is acting up, arguing with
everyone, she knows herself it is not like her but she feels
out of control as she can only control her eating habits as
her friend Ana is there to guide her.
(voice over of internal diegetic sound)
(Reading text messages in her head -
"I can't cope with you", "I'm worried
about you", why do you always cancel
dinner plans?", "what is up with
you?")
SCENE 8 - "BEAUTY IS PAIN"
She cries most nights about wanting a normal teenage life.
She cries about her weight, appearance what she ate that day
and how it is going to effect her the next morning.
(non-diegetic sound - background sound of music)
SCENE 9 - "THE DOWNFALL"
After so long her body could not take it anymore. Her parents
figured everything out because they had been worried about
her; she thought they would not have found out. They booked

her a doctor's appointment. She freaks out as she is not
ready for recovery ever! She is barely where she wants to be,
but she also knows all the damage is not going to end well
for her.
(Diegetic sound of voice message from parent"
"We are getting you to the hospital
and are getting you checked out. We
are worried about you, you can't do
this to yourself, your slowly killing
yourself".
SCENE 10 - "CREDITS, INFORMATION, OUTRO"
I am going to add credits, UK helplines related with eating
disorders, statistics about anorexia and eating disorders
(Diegetic sound - background music for closing credits and
information)
