deepwater and horizontal drilling, reservoir management and recovery,

The Oil and Gas Innovation Centre based in Aberdeen links industry
and academics to work together to link 30+ operators and 2000+ service
companies to universities to work on oil and gas specific projects.
The Oil & Gas Technology Centre was established in October 2016
with £180 million funding to provide an industry-led, focused and
flexible approach to enabling and facilitating innovation between
industry, academia and government, transforming innovative ideas into
technology solutions. Their ambition is to become the go-to technology
centre for the oil and gas industry in the UK and internationally.
