The Student Game Development Club was founded in 2007 at Tampere University of Applied Sciences to bring together students interested in games and game development. The club has grown from 20 initial members to over 80 currently. It aims to maintain a hobbyist game development community through arranging lectures, workshops, and trips. The club also provides resources and space for game projects and networking opportunities within the Finnish game development industry.
