Technical parameters/Specifications of the work for preparation and supply of
3-D scale miniature Model for the Rail Wheel Plant Bela through 3-D Printing
technology are given as under:
(1) 3D model creation. 3D CAD version of the whole plant covering all
landscape within its boundary with all the details like various shops in the
plant area, administrative building , roads, ponds, garden, colony,,club etc.
(2) Making of the model (Physical Model) | Technology: 3D Printing (Selective
Laser Sintering), Material: Nylon (PA2200). High precision, detail and
smooth surface finish.
(3) Model Dimensions: 11*9 Feet, scale- 1:500, Height as per the scale of the
model , model should be prepared in four equal parts for ease of assembly
and transportation.
(4) Post processing and painting of the model
(a) Model should be coloured using non-toxic acrylic paints to
actual colour.
(b)Water based paint should be used for appearance of the
colour of the model.
(5) Visual marking and miniature models of structures and architectures within
the plant and colony area.
(6) Laser lighting effects to be effectively used for identification of different
parts of the model.
(7) Wooden/acrylic base of size and transparent/clear acrylic case of suitable
size to accommodate the final model.
(8) The model should also include the model base / wooden table with glass
coverings to accommodate the final model.
(9) Fabrication of foldable stand of non corrosive stainless steel frame (of size
proportionate to actual model size) on which model along with base will be
mounted for display.

(11) Final demonstration of model at RWP Bela
