The Friends of Sciennes School held a sponsored event, the Edinburgh Hill Challenge, where over 120 pupils and their families participated during the Easter holidays, reaching hill tops in Edinburgh more than 580 times. The event raised £2,506, and various activities such as a beach clean and a bake sale were also included. Notably, Rosemary Reid from P5A won the Green Pencil Award.
