Madeline and Mali enjoyed coloring Easter eggs, with Mali liking it more than Madeline. On Easter morning, Mali was excited about her puppet while Madeline was still waking up. The family had a traditional Easter lunch including a bunny cake made by the author's sister, and an Easter egg hunt was held at Bebe's house where Texas found the first egg and Bryce won by finding 54 eggs total.
