The Science Center of Iowa (SCI) encourages lifelong learning through interactive exhibits and programs. SCI is a governing member of the Association of Science-Technology Centers and is accredited by the American Association of Museums. It has over 150 hands-on exhibits and hosts special traveling exhibits like BODY WORLDS Vital, which examines real human specimens. Upcoming, SCI will host the exhibit Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science starting November 25th, allowing visitors to experience reconstructed artifacts and interact with authentic Egyptian artifacts and current science. SCI encourages community involvement through visiting, becoming a member, volunteering, or supporting its educational programming.
