A Green house is a place where all the
plants have been grown That need
protection from the cold weather and also
we can call it has conservatory basically
a greenhouse is made up of glass or
plastic the greenhouse is a very useful for
us as we can protect plants whenever we
want
What do you think why do we
need greenhouse and why do we
have to make a greenhouse ??

We made greenhouse because they help
plants grow and they can centralize the
sunlight for heat and humidity and the
reason we need greenhouse is when we
have a greenhouse it makes possible for the
sunlight to reach the plants inside.
it makes it easier for the glass to project
sunlight through the glass helping the plants
inside grow while at the same time it
protects the plants
How Does a Greenhouse Work ?
We all know that greenhouses do wonders for our
plants, allowing them to grown bigger and stronger than
if they were uncovered, but how does a greenhouse
actually achieve this? Is it magic or is there something
really easy to understand about how a greenhouse
works
Solar energy which is commonly known as sunlight is
converted to thermal energy or what is better known as
heat. Simply put a greenhouse takes the sun’s rays and
heats them up. Greenhouses filter the sunlight through
the walls and ceiling, normally made of glass or
polycarbonate, which then heats up the air that is
trapped inside.
This process helps plants to grow to their full potential
and keeps them protected from external forces that
may damage them by trampling, eating or damage
caused by wind or rain. Plants will always grow better if
they are exposed to a temperate heat and a good water
source and when kept correctly in a greenhouse they
receive both
The Greenhouse Effect and the Greenhouse Gases
Some gases in the earths atmosphere stop heat radiating into space from the
earth. This is called the greenhouse effect and the gases involved are called
greenhouse gases . The greenhouse gases include:
-Methane
-Water vapour
-Carbon-dioxide
-Ozone
-Nitrous oxide

                            Greenhouse gases Greenhouse effect
What is the Greenhouse effect (detail information)

The greenhouse effect increases the temperature of the Earth by
trapping heat in our atmosphere. The greenhouse effect keeps
the temperature of the Earth higher than it would be if direct
heating by the Sun was the only source of warming. When
sunlight reaches the surface of the Earth, some of it is absorbed
which warms the ground and some bounces back to space as
heat. Greenhouse gases that are in the atmosphere absorb and
then redirect some of this heat back towards the Earth.
The greenhouse effect is a major factor in keeping our Earth
warm because it keeps some of the planet's heat that would
otherwise escape from the atmosphere out to space. In fact,
without the greenhouse effect the Earth's average global
temperature would be much colder and life on Earth as we know
it would not be possible. The difference between the Earth's
actual average temperature 14.4° C (57.9° F) and the expected
effective temperature just with the Sun's radiation -18.1° C (-0.6°
F) gives us the strength of the greenhouse effect, which is 32.5°
C.
How does the Greenhouse Effect happen?
-The earth’s atmosphere is all around us. It is the air that we breathe.

-Sunlight enters the Earth’s atmosphere, passing through the blanket of
greenhouse gases

-As it reaches the earth’s surface, the land and water absorbs the sunlight’s energy.

-Once absorbed, the energy is sent back into the atmosphere in the form of infra-
red rays.

-Some of the energy passes back into space, but much of it remains trapped in the
atmosphere by the greenhouse gases, causing our globe (earth) to warm up

….This warming is what we call Global Warming, and it is caused by the
greenhouse effect.

The greenhouse effect is important. Without the greenhouse effect, the earth would
not be warm enough for humans to live. But if the greenhouse effect becomes
stronger, it could make the earth warmer than usual. Even a little extra warming of
the earth may cause problems for humans, plants and animals..

illustration.html
WHAT DO GREENHOUSE GASES DO?
Basically what greenhouse gases do is help trap heat in the earth's atmosphere.
So the more greenhouse gases there are the more heat gets trapped. The heat is
trapped through a process called the greenhouse effect. The result of the
greenhouse effect is global warming which causes climate change. When there
are higher amounts of greenhouse gas emissions, global warming is further
accelerated

Climate changes are sometimes caused by natural factors but the climate
changes that we are seeing and experiencing today are almost entirely caused by
one important factor:

Human activities that change the atmosphere's composition (e.g. through burning
fossil fuels, industrial production, etc...) These human activities increase the
amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which keeps more heat in our
atmosphere, facilitating global warming.

The way global warming will affect our weather/climate will be different from
region to region
So the greenhouse effect is good or bad ??

Some people thinks that the greenhouse effect is bad but its not
a bad thing, but people are concerned because the earths
greenhouse is warming up very rapidly. This is happening
because we are currently adding more greenhouse gases to our
atmosphere, causing an increased greenhouse effect. The
increased in the greenhouse effect is causing changes in our
planet that can affect our lives

It's very good, up to a certain degree. It's essential for life, in fact.
If it weren't for the Greenhouse effect, the Earth would be
freezing.

The problem nowadays is that the greenhouse effect is getting
amplified due to the abnormally high levels of greenhouse gases
we humans are throwing into the air. That's causing the planet to
warm up too much, also known as Global Warming.
Global warming

The gradual increase in the temperature of the earth's
atmosphere, believed to be due to the greenhouse
effect is called as Global warming
Why does global warming happens and occurs??

Global warming happens because of pollution. One kind of
pollution is electrical pollution. Electricity causes pollution in many
ways, some worse than others. In most cases, fossil fuels are
burned to create electricity. When we throw our garbage away, it
also causes global warming because the garbage goes to
landfills. If you recycle, less trash goes to the dump, and less
trash gets burned. As a result, there are fewer greenhouse gasses
in our atmosphere. Also, the greenhouse gases of cars can cause
global warming. Global warming occurs when the world heats up
this is known as climate change. It all starts with a thing called
green house gasses, the green houses gasses create an outer
layer of the earth. When the sun's rays hit the earth a smaller
amount of it goes out again, this is because it gets trapped inside
the earth and the gasses, this heats the world up and melts the
ice caps thus raising the sea level today.
Advantages and disadvantages of global warming
Advantages: As because of global warming we can see climate has change
in every region so some of the changes are good like 1. Fewer cold-related
deaths- allot death takes place in a cold region so there will be less death
rates 2. Increased food supply-There are three things that crops need more
than anything else to grow and produce high yields: heat, moisture, and
carbon dioxide some crops don’t get enough heat in some of the regions but
just because of global warming the crops get the things which they need and
from that there is an increase in food and the supplies 3.Less disease- as I
mention in the first point allot death takes place in cold region. disease like
cold flu, malaria, Ebola so on.. Will decrease as because of global warming
so there will be less disease

Disadvantages: As the global warming is the main issue for the global
community. More properly this is called global climate change as some areas
may get warm, cold, dry or some wetter. 1. Floods- as the temperature gets
more hot so the ice in the cold region begins to melt and the sea level rises
and that leads to flood or tsunami 2.Wildlife sufferings- as many of the
animals will die in the polar regions as when the ice will melts it became water
and they cant live in water so they will die for eg Polar bears 3. Heat wave-
The deadly heat wave that swept across Europe in 2003, killing an estimated
35,000 people as it is too hot .
Is global warming good or bad?

Global warming is bad. As there are more
disadvantages of global warming and the
worst disadvantage is the melting of ice just
imagine if all the ice melts whats gonna
happen?? There will be more floods tsunamis
and then we cant live in this world. Climate
change is also a part of the global warming
and most of the climate change is bad as
because then you cant able to grow crops
properly there will be lot of people have to
suffer from diseases so Global Warming is not
good for us..
How can we stop global warming??
1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (Ever notice reduce comes first?)

2. Walk/bike instead of driving a car(If the place your going to is just near, then just walk or use a bike.)

3. Choose recycled products

4. Plant more trees.

5. Buy local products

6. Patronize and support renewable energy resources

7. Use fuel-efficient cars

8. Avoid over cooling rooms

9. Clean/replace air conditioner filters.

10. Use environment-friendly appliances

11.Turn off cars while waiting

12. Plan trips to save gas

13. Use compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL)

14. Promote Awareness: We can't do this alone
