GENRE • Quoted from Google, the genre of Sci-fi is fiction based on imagined future scientific or technological advances and major social or environmental changes, frequently portraying space or time travel and life on other planets.
AUDIENCE • Sci-fi films offer a chance to escape reality for some people who may not enjoy day to day life. Due to the complete change in lifestyle, it gives viewers a whole new world to engross in whether it be a Utopia or Dystopia.
REPRESENTATION • Female Sci Fi characters tend to be dolled up and glamourous for the reason that the female audience will want to be them and the male audience will want to be with with them! • Male Sci-fi characters are percieved as being heroic and strong. They tend to be very mascaline, often someone to be looked up to and aspired to be!
