1) NOMINATION PROCESS
 Inclusion of names of the candidates will happen from
9:30 am to 4:30 pm only on the scheduled date.
 The student can contest for the position if he/she meets
the required qualifications
i) The candidate must be from class XII.
ii) The candidate must have a conduct certificate from one
of the teachers.
iii)The candidate must have studied in the school for
atleast 4 years.
iv)The candidate must have atleast 10 supporters in his
team.
 The election committee would issue the symbols for the candidates after
nomination is successfully completed.
2)PREPARING THE ELECTORAL ROLL
 The students must complete the registration to include their names in the electoral
roll.
 The students will be given 5 days time to complete the registration after which no
names would be taken in.
 Every registered student would be given a unique 6-digit number as their election
id number which would be used for verification during voting
3) POLLING OFFICIALS FOR COUNTING OF VOTES WILL BE SELECTED
4) BALLOT BOXES, POLLING BADGES, SEALS,BALLOT PAPERS TO BE
PREPARED

1) ENSURE THAT THE CHOSEN AREA HAS ENOUGH PLACE TO
REGULATE GOOD TRAFFIC FLOW INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE BOOTH.
2)ALLOCATE SPACE FOR VOTERS TO CAST THEIR VOTE IN SECRECY.
3)ENSURE IF THERE ARE ENOUGH WHEEL CHAIRS FOR THE
SPECIALLY ABLED TO CAST THEIR VOTE
4)THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS, CAN CAST THEIR
VOTE AFTER THE DAY BEFORE AND THEIR VOTE IS SEALED AND KEPT
SAFELY
5)READY ALL THE ESSENTIALS REQUIRED IN THE BOOTH AND LOCK
THE BOOTH SO THAT THERE IS NO HUMAN MOVEMENT INSIDE.
THE BIG DAY!!!
1)Before the polling begins gather around and review the task
allocated to each person.
2)The Scrutineers must check if the ballot box is empty.
3)Open the polling booth sharp at 9:00 am.
4)Verify each voter’s identity using the 6-digit unique number
and their roll number
5)Mark the polling paper with the polling official’s name in
the corner.
6)Mark the voter’s finger with ink once they have voted to
prevent malpractice.
7)Close the poll at sharp 5:30 and seal the ballot box along
with the booth

FUNDING
 The school will provide some amount of
money.
 With the cultural approaching, some stalls
can be set up for funding the elections.
 The candidates must pay Rs 500 each for
nomination as a registration fee.
 With the upcoming alumini meeting, we
can raise the funding.
