Global warming is causing the Earth's temperature to rise due to human production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels. This is melting ice, changing water and weather patterns, and threatening some animal species. To reduce these problems, people and organizations need to lower their carbon footprint by reducing emissions, recycling more, and switching to reusable and renewable resources.
