In addition, the project included a needs assessment for starting a new social media-based support group to address mental health needs on campus and development of alternative coping mechanisms for anxiety and stress management in an effort to reduce alcohol consumption among UCA students. Finally, the proposal was presented to the University of Central Arkansas’ Office of Student Wellness & Development director, Jenna Davidson.
