Turbine Flow meter (Appleton-GR-EFHC series).

• Partial Stroke testing of Shut down valves with smart positioner– Biffi(Actuator),

• Functional Checking of Manual Call Points(Apollo XP95), Flame detectors
(Triple IR-Detronics) and Gas detectors (Search point Optima Plus).

• Triconex PLC is used for the following applications at our site:
o Emergency Shutdown system
o Fire and Gas detection & mitigation system
o Burner Management system
o High integrity pressure protection system
• Activities carried out:
o Logic Checking activities for all SIL loops of above mention systems (proof
tests).
o Daily system health checks (Enhanced Diagnostic Module)
o Participating in trouble shooting activities.
o Participating in logic modifications and download change activities.
• Skills acquired:
o Good knowledge on Triconex hardware and its architecture.
o Good understanding on Peer to peer, Modbus, and TDSI communication.
o Application knowledge of different applications like ESD, FGS, BMS &
HIPPS.
o Fair knowledge on functional safety (SIS).
Distributed Control Systems:
Invensys Foxboro IA V8.3 is used as Distributed Control system at our site
• Activities carried out:
o Daily system health checks (System Management Display Handler).
o Network Health checks (Net Sight).
o Participating in trouble shooting activities.
o Participating in logic modifications and download change activities.

process in Inlet & GDU (Gas Dehydration Unit), MEG Regeneration and Reclamation
unit, Utilities (Hot oil heater, GTG etc), MA Gas compressors, TLF (truck loading
facility) etc.

Project:
1. Title : Anemia diagnosis by fuzzy logic using lab view.
Description : The project is designed to diagnose anemia disease by fuzzy logic using
lab view software. This expert system will surely bring down the
mistakes which in turn will be a boon for humanity. There are basically
18 kinds of Anemia and using this software one could easily find the kind
4. of anemia. One such system to diagnose various kinds of anemia, using
the concept of fuzzy logic on Lab VIEW platform, has been attempted by
us in this project.
Achievements and Training:
• Undergone Industrial training for a period of 15 days in Coke ovens and SMS Plant
present in Rashtriya Ishpat Nigam Limited, Visakhapatnam.
• Participated in robo-race contest organised by V.R.Siddhartha College of Engineering,
Vijayawada.
• Won 1st
Prize in chess tournament that was held at my intermediate college.
