Same-Sex Marriage Same-sex marriage has been debated in the United States for awhile now. Some Countries have already gone on to legalize and so have some states in our country, but many people still have a problem with it. In this presentation of images, I intend to represent some counterarguments to arguments made by those who are opposed to same-sex marriage. I want to show those opposed to same-sex marriage why there should be no arguments against gay marriage but why there should be arguments for gay marriage.
Marriage defined by the web is “the state of being a married couple voluntarily joined for life.” They’re aren’t specifications for it being 100% heterosexual.
Why is it that nearly 70% of people in the U.S. are opposed to same-sex marriage? Maybe religion plays a part in that, but first amendment clearly states freedom of religion, does that not include Freedom from religion?
It’s our ignorance that leads us to believe same-sex marriage is wrong. We should show more understanding of homosexuality.
We are a country founded on equality, not discrimination.
We should support the ideas of love, commitment and devotion between two people of any sexual orientation or race, no matter what.
Support love; support same-sex marriage.
