This course aims to teach you
best practice in safeguarding
children in the work
environment, but it is in
everyone’s interests in any
walk of life to protect children
and be vigilant and alert for
signs of abuse and danger. You
will learn how to recognise child
abuse, how to report your
concerns and – most importantly
– how to protect children from
danger. You will also sit a test at
the end to make sure you have
understood the essential points. This
test can be re-sat as often as you need to
gain a full understanding of the issues.
This course is ideal for those who will be
working with or supervising children in any
capacity – voluntary or full-time – in order to
ensure their charges’ safety and wellbeing. It is also very useful for those
who have worked with children before but need to refresh, update or
further hone their understanding of safeguarding children.
