Harp seals live in the cold Atlantic Ocean and eat a variety of fish and invertebrates. They have thick fur coats made of two layers that help them stay warm. Their predators include arctic foxes, polar bears, and killer whales. Harp seal pups are born with white fur that camouflages them on ice and snow until they mature and their fur turns grey.
