EMC InfoArchive is an enterprise archiving solution that provides structured and unstructured content archiving. It uses connectors to transfer data from various sources into XML-based submission information packages (SIPs) and archive information packages (AIPs) for long-term storage. InfoArchive supports both active archiving of subsets of data on a periodic basis according to business rules, as well as full archiving of data when applications are being decommissioned. It utilizes technologies like HTML5, AngularJS, Java, and Apache Hadoop for its user interface, application, and data persistence.
