In my role as CFO, and leading a CFO & accounting tech. practice, I have successfully executed these skills narratives:
• Financial Leadership – My leadership duties include setting and meeting metric targets, budgeting and forecasting, DCF
modeling, product pricing and modeling, managing costs, accounting and statement oversight, establishing internal
controls, risk management, implementing financial systems (ERP), contracting, negotiating and coordinating with
financing sources and audit, investigating acquisitions, and communicating results. Management of these functions
contributed to a foundation of growth for dozens of businesses, and bank, audit, valuation, investor, and tax compliance.
• Improving Process & Procedure – Our teams revised workflows, automated transactions, and standardized GL
reconciliation templates to meet a “fast close” and compliance with GAAP standards. GAAP and management report
libraries featured standardized groupings and quick release capabilities. These changes accelerated the release of
financial results, giving officers better lead time to cut costs, improve margins, and prepare for audit engagements.
• Using Systems to Leverage Growth – As a Sage Intacct and NetSuite partner we completed dozens of ERP
implementations, often involving integration with Salesforce, Avalara, PayPal, ADP, Bill.com, Concur, others. These
systems allowed CFO’s to better manage cash, purchasing, approvals, contracts, projects, inventory, assets, T&E, foreign
currency, work orders, revenue, global consolidation, and dashboard reporting. Our engagements demonstrated ROI
through workflow automation, processing speed, visibility of risk and opportunity, and improved reporting.
• Simplifying the Message – To meet goals for revenue growth in our outsource and ERP practices, I developed a series
of presentations featuring a standard persona titled the “Manager Series,” and created dozens of sales decks for
customer, seminar, and investor purposes. Given seminar training (“Present Like a Pro”), customer interaction successes
(and failures), and academic study, I realized the power of “one slide, one message,” which contributed to hundreds of
audience interactions with my PowerPoint, report, metric, and financial dashboard presentations.
• Researching & Applying Standards – For accounting standards, I authored “Topics in Accounting” a technical series
with focus on topics such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), translation and consolidation of FCU transactions and entities
(ASC 830), and treatment of R&D costs (ASC 730). For statements and metrics, I created templates per GAAP and SEC
standards, with additional focus on industry, management and consolidated reporting, and visualization tools.

Company: International CPG retailer in health and wellness space operating via e-commerce channel. Size: $7 – $10MM.
Leadership Role: President and Chief Financial Officer of internationally recognized domain. Responsible for strategy,
financial management, roadmap, pricing, brand building, ad management, relationship development, products, and vendors.
• Directed operational wins through an assessment of customer needs, staff expertise, financial resources, product margin,
and project payoff. By focusing on how our available resources could maximize profits, our team implemented an express
shipping program, branding/launch of eVTV (YouTube Channel), updates to customer packaging and order receipt, a
relaunch of brand pages, accelerated cost cuts, and a reorganization of Google Ads. Examples of impact included raising
Google Ad returns (ROAS) by 500BP, decreasing OpEx by 30%, and creating a more in-depth customer experience.
• Optimized pricing specific to the product catalog, shipping, foreign currency transactions, and the Amazon resale channel.
Sample success was evident in changes to shipping fees, where Excel modeling produced optimal cost-conversion

• Led CLA and customer teams in complex financial system implementations, with oversight of project management,

• Managed the CFO/controller partner role for companies requiring oversight of their financial accounting operations. This
