I am pretty sure you will make my mother very happy as you have made me. This should be the happiest day of your life because you get to shower in the presence of the goddess of life. Dark Veda,Persephone’s uncle and god of the damned rises from below covered in black ashes and fire) Dark Veda: There you are the fairest of all princesses…. Persephone: Go away evil monster! Dark Veda: (Disappointed) What is the matter my dear? Do you not know you are destined to be wife? (Lifting hands up to the sky with fire burning from them) You will become the Queen of the Damned world and everyone will respect you. Persephone: No, I disagree completely. My father would never allow that to happen at all, Never I tell you! He would strike you down with his great hand of wrath! (throwing the flowers at her Uncle). Dark Veda: Ooh, so you do not know of the secret pact between me and your father?! Well, you will learn of it very soon, my dear. For now, go home and prepare yourself. I will come for you tomorrow. Persephone: (Lifting herself up angrily with tears running freely down her cheeks). Nooo! This cannot be. (she runs back to the palace eager to face her father to know the truth about the “secret pact”). Demeter: (seeing the distraught face of her running daughter) What is it my daughter? Please answer me my sweet child? (her tears were welling up in her eyes when she saw her daughter crying). Persephone: Where is father? I need to talk to him this instant! (she had completely forgotten she was addressing her mother due to anger). Zeus: What is it my daughter? (Walking down the corridors of the palace). Talk to me dear. Part 1: Encounter with Darkness
Persephone, a young girl in her early teenage years, is picking
flowers for her mother Demeter. Her mother is the wife to Zeus
the great Greek god. She is keen to get only the best flowers the
flower garden has to offer.
Persephone: (smiling broadly) Come here you! I am pretty sure

Zeus: Surely we cannot fight them off all of them.
Persephone: I will go with him. If it will save my mother and
the whole world from Uncle Veda’s fury.
Demeter: No, You will not. If there is anyone going anywhere it
will be me.
Zeus: Oh why did it have to be like this.
Demeter: I am going and that’s final!
Part 2: A new god is born
There is a meeting where Dark Veda has come to claim what
was promised to him years ago. Zeus, Demeter and Persephone
are in attendance seated opposite to Dark Veda.
Dark Veda: Well, let us get on with it then, I see no one is in
the mood to talk.
Demeter: You will not take my daughter, you pedophile! You
will take me and me alone.
Dark Veda: I appreciate the offerbut I will pass. I want
Persephone and Persephone alone. Zeus you do know the
consequences of this imminent rebelliousness.
Zeus: Come down everyone. Persephone will go with Dark Veda
and that is final.
(Dark Veda unleashes his powerful fiery arms and opens the
earth right before Persephone. She is quickly swallowed by the
earth itself and the earth quickly closes out. Demeter tries to
suck the life out of Dark Veda but she is held back by Zeus
knowing all too well that if she managed to suck life out of him,
she would have to die because he is more powerful than her.
Dark Veda also escapes into the ground.When being hugged by
Zeus has husband, an idea struck her)
Demeter: (Speaking inwardly to herself) What if I took Zeus’s

4. power, surely I can defeat Veda. And what’s more Zeus will not
die because he is stronger than me. But this would kill me.
Well, it is the price I have to pay.
(Demeter sucks power from Zeus who is left on the ground
crouching in pain for, you see, taking power from a god is like
plucking the skin of a human being. With the increased power
she struck lightening into the earth and tore it apart. She could
now see her daughter being pulled downwards. She strikes the
hands of Dark Veda with so much fury he had to let go. Demeter
manages to pull her daughter back unharmed. But now she faces
the angry Dark Veda. The two fight in the palace and destroy
almost everything. Finally, Dark Veda overpowers Demeter and
is about to kill her when….)
Persephone: You will not kill her! (She unleashes a very
powerful lash of light that strikes kill Dark Veda on the spot.
Her goddess power was finally strong enough to show. This
would be remembered as the day she saved her family and rid
the world of the King of the Damned.)
