I am currently working as a Team Lead (Principle DBA) for US based client called (Avanade). I am leading
the 8 members team along with provide the support to business and team in case of any major issues with database.
After studying the clients existing processes and understanding them in its entirety, I suggested new and timesaving
techniques to help address the pain areas. In order to achieve this, I helped automate all their manual processes such as
auditing, installation, clustering etc through Powershell scripting language (custom tools around our database
technology). This resulted in drastic reduction of man hours, improved process efficiency and costs which was highly
appreciated by the client.
This is a 24X7 Environment where DBAs support SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 on Windows Servers for Dev, QA, Prod, &
DR totaling 420. I supported Accounting Data Servers databases, and worked closely with the Development / Application
Team. Supporting 80 production servers, 43 developments and testing servers for US, Canada, Singapore.
I am a Senior DBA responsible for enterprise data management, archiving capabilities and managing data growth
effectively to reduce costs and improve performance. Capable of assessing and implementing existing tools like OPTIM
and other new technologies related to data management and archiving. In case of major outages join the bridge call and
