developed an innovative modular
solution which converts Mixed
Plastic Waste into Plaxx™

MODULE 1.Unsorted Mixed Plastic Waste is
shredded and dried using standard techniques.
MODULE 2.The Mixed Plastic Waste undergoes
Advanced Thermal Treatment, producing a hot
hydrocarbon gas from which contamination is
removed.
MODULE 3.The clean gas is condensed to form
a clean low sulphur hydrocarbon we call Plaxx
TM
.

The RT7000 is being installed at Swindon
Commercial Services.
SUSTAINABILITY AS A SERVICE
Recycling Technologies is working with
companies that currently have the problem of
Mixed Plastic Waste. We will provide an RT7000
on suitable customer sites and the personnel
to recycle Mixed Plastic Waste as a service,
removing the need for our customers to worry
about the operations.
Our aim is to make recycling Mixed Plastic
Waste the easy and profitable option for our
customers.
Who is this solution for?
MATERIAL RECYCLING FACILITIES with significant
quantities of residual plastic waste after PET
and HDPE etc have been removed.
PAPER & CARDBOARD RECYCLING MILLS
that have mill reject material. This does contain
some cardboard fibre but is predominantly a
wide mixture of plastic packaging and aluminium
that can be separated by the Recycling
Technologies’ innovative process.
RETAIL DISTRIBUTION CENTRES Packaging
from retail outlets is returned to the distribution
centres. Significant quantities of plastic are
currently generated and disposed of, however
this RDC material can be processed and
recycled.
ANAEROBIC DIGESTION plants produce volumes
of mixed plastic packaging waste after the
bio-material has been removed for the digestor.
We have successfully trialed material directly
from the output of food waste AD plant.
SUITABLE SITES
Ideally customers need to have space to
incorporate a layout such as above within a
covered area. If space is restricted some of
the layout can be housed externally.
COMPLIANCE
Emissions from the RT7000 comply with the
all applicable legislation, Waste Incineration
Directives (WID) do not apply as waste is not
being combusted.

The problem of Mixed Plastic Waste Requires a commercially viable solution Waste Plastic is a truly versatile and valuable material, so it’s not surprising that its production and use is growing exponentially. However, the acute problem of plastic waste is forcing companies to use less than ideal methods to discard it. They either bury it, burn it or in some cases, dump it.   • 4. Recycling Technologies has developed an innovative modular solution which converts Mixed Plastic Waste into Plaxx™ . MODULE 1.Unsorted Mixed Plastic Waste is shredded and dried using standard techniques. MODULE 2.The Mixed Plastic Waste undergoes Advanced Thermal Treatment, producing a hot hydrocarbon gas from which contamination is removed. MODULE 3.The clean gas is condensed to form a clean low sulphur hydrocarbon we call Plaxx TM . Our modular design allows us to take the solution to the problem avoiding the need for transporting waste. SMALLER SCALE – A DISTRIBUTED SOLUTION The RT7000 is sized to allow it to be located at sites with Mixed Plastic Waste. This distributed approach removes the need for costly transportation to centralised facilities. MODULAR CONSTRUCTION The modular design allows assembly and testing in our factory which is less costly and disruptive for clients than on-site construction. This concept also facilitates financing/leasing as systems can easily be relocated. PATENTED TECHNOLOGY This unique approach to Mixed Plastic Waste has been patented in the UK and international applications have been filed. Plaxx™ PlaxxTM is a valuable hydrocarbon product. Solid at room temperature, Plaxx TM is easily transported for multiple uses. It can be used as a feedstock for more plastic, closing the virtuous circle. Alternatively it is a Slack Wax equivalent and can be sold globally for this purpose. In making Plaxx TM , a valuable commodity product, Mixed Plastic Waste has been recycled. Alternatively Plaxx TM is a low sulphur Heavy Fuel Oil, which can be used for heating, power generation or marine propulsion. This flexibility allows Mixed Plastic Waste to be recycled in the most commercially and environmentally beneficial way. SUSTAINABILITY AS A SERVICE Recycling Technologies is working with companies that currently have the problem of Mixed Plastic Waste. We will provide an RT7000 on suitable customer sites and the personnel to recycle Mixed Plastic Waste as a service, removing the need for our customers to worry about the operations. Our aim is to make recycling Mixed Plastic Waste the easy and profitable option for our customers. Who is this solution for? MATERIAL RECYCLING FACILITIES with significant quantities of residual plastic waste after PET and HDPE etc have been removed. PAPER & CARDBOARD RECYCLING MILLS that have mill reject material. This does contain some cardboard fibre but is predominantly a wide mixture of plastic packaging and aluminium that can be separated by the Recycling Technologies’ innovative process. RETAIL DISTRIBUTION CENTRES Packaging from retail outlets is returned to the distribution centres. Significant quantities of plastic are currently generated and disposed of, however this RDC material can be processed and recycled. ANAEROBIC DIGESTION plants produce volumes of mixed plastic packaging waste after the bio-material has been removed for the digestor. We have successfully trialed material directly from the output of food waste AD plant. SUITABLE SITES Ideally customers need to have space to incorporate a layout such as above within a covered area. If space is restricted some of the layout can be housed externally. COMPLIANCE Emissions from the RT7000 comply with the all applicable legislation, Waste Incineration Directives (WID) do not apply as waste is not being combusted. 12M 20M 25M “
