RRB Group D -Introduction:
•RRB Railway Recruitment Board Exam is one of the Largest Recruiting
Organization in India.The exam is directed for all education sectors from 10th
pass to Graduation to post graduates students.
•RRB group D Exam is mainly conducted in various posts Like:
•Railway Junior Engineer Exam
•Railway Section Engineer Exam
•Railway group D Exam
•Railway Loco Pilot Exam
•Railway Non-Technical Posts Exam
•62500+ seats are waiting for new candidates.
•The Group D is considered as the lowest rank of occupation or a job post in any
government or private jobs.
•But here we are talking about the Indian Railways.
•This year the Indian Railways have released the official notification for the Group
D recruitment CEN02/2018.The Online applications are available from
10th Feb 2018 to 12th March 2018.
RRB Group D -Eligibility Criteria:
•There are 2 section on which your RRB group d eligibility is judge for RRB Group D
recruitment that is your Education and your Age.
•Firstly,You need to qualify the following eligibility criteria to apply for this
RRB Group D exam.
•For the RRB Eligibility ITI is not mandatory
•10th Pass students are also eligible to apply for RRB Group D Exam.
•RRB has increased the upper age limit for Group D.
•RRB Group D Age Limit is
•MinimumAge for RRB Group d Exam is 18Years
•Maximum Age for RRB Group d Exam is 33Years
•RRB Group D Age Relaxation are as follows:
•For the SC/ST Category is 5Years
•For the OBC Category is 3Years
•For the EXSMCategory is 3Years
•For the Domicile J & k Category is 5Years
•For the PWD (Unreserved) Category is 10Years
•For the PWD (OBC) Category is 13Years
•For the PWD (SC/ST) Category is 15Years
•For the Serving Railway Staff (UR) Category is Up to 40
•For the Serving Railway Staff (OBC) Category is Up to 43
•For the Serving Railway Staff (SC/ST) Category is Up to 45
•For the Widows, DivorcedWomen (UR) Category is Up to 35
•For the Widows, DivorcedWomen (OBC) Category is Up to 38
•For the Widows, DivorcedWomen (SC/ST) Category is Up to 40
RRB Group D -Exam Important Dates:
•Start Date of OnlineApplication is 10th February 2018 at 10 AM
•Last Date of OnlineApplication is 31st March 2018
•Last Date of Payment is 31st March 2018
•Tentative Date of Exam is April / May
RRB Group D -Exam Pattern:
•RRB Group D selection will be based on 3 stages
•CBT that is Computer BasedTest
•PET that is Physical EfficiencyTest
•DocumentVerification
•Computer BasedTest:
•The CBT will be the first stage of selection that will be based on following pattern
•There are 4 Papers in the RRB Exam that are:
•Mathematics
•General intelligence and Reasoning
•General science
•General Awareness on Current Affairs
•Total number of Question is 100
•And theTime Duration is 90 min.
•1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
•The Questions will be of ObjectiveType
•Also the Questions will be multipleChoices
•Physical EfficiencyTest:
•After QualifyingCBT then you will be called for a Physical Efficiency
•For the Male Applicant:
•You have to lift and carry 35kg of weight of a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes
•AndThis will be in one shot without putting the weight down.
•You have to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in
single chance.
•For the Female Applicant:
•You have to lift and carry 20kg of weight for a distance 100 meters in 2 minutes.
•AndThis will be in one shot without putting the weight down.
•You have to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds in single
chance.
•DocumentVerification:
•Based on the performance of the Applicant in the CBT subject to their
qualifying in PET
•Applicant will be called for document verification.
•Thereafter, the final selection will be finalized.
RRB Group D -Application Fees:
•The Examination fees will be get refunded to the after they appear for the exam.
•Those who are paid 250 rupees will be refunded the entire amount.
•And those who are paid 500 rupees will be refunded the 400 rupees.
•Fees for the General / OBC is 500 Rupees
•Fees for the SC/ST/PWD/Female is 250 Rupees
RRB Group D -Application Procedure:
•Click on the http://www.indianrail.gov.in link
•Click on the Railway Recruitment Board and Select the Board City
•Click on the Employment Notification
•And Click “ Apply for CEN”
•Click on the New Registration button
•Then, Select any One RRB to Apply (RRB Once selected cannot be changed)
•Then, Read all the Instruction related to RRB Group d exam
•Click on the both the check box
•Click on the submit Application
•Registration form will be display on your screen
•Enter your
•Name,
•Date of Birth,
•Aadhar Card Status,
•Aadhar Number,
•Fathers Name,
•Mothers Name,
• Enter your matriculation/ 10th / SSLC Roll number, ITI, NAC Certificate Number,
•EnterYear of Passing,
•Enter Mobile Number,
•Valid EmailAddress,
•Enter the captcha
•Check on the declaration box
•And Click to Continue.
•Check the “Verified and Confirm all the details furnished”
•And Submit
•Verify your account through OTP
•You can activate your registration by verifying through OTPs received on your
email and mobile Number.
•EnterYour Registered email id
•Enter the OTP that you received on your registered email id
•Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
•Enter Captcha
•And click on the Submit button.
•Click on the Login Button
•Enter Registration Number, Date of Birth and Enter Captcha
•Enter the Qualification, Community, Gender, Nationality, Religion, and other
basic details
•After filling all the details click on the check box and go to the Next step that is
payment Mode
•Select your Payment Mode
•And click on Pay Now

RRB Group D – RRB Examform Accept or Reject:
•Click on the RRBs Official website
•That is http://www.indianrail.gov.in
•Select your Zone
•Click on Apply online
•Click on PrintApplication
•Again Select your Zone
•Enter your Registration Number, Date of Birth and Enter the Captcha
•And click on the Login button
•After Login,You will the Applicant Home Page
•There notifiedYour Registration Number and RRB Exam forms acceptance and
Rejection status
•“Your online Application is provisionally accepted subject to scrutiny”
•And Print the Application Form.
RRB Group D – Railway Group d result:
•The Admit Cards for Railway RRB Exams are released just a couple of weeks before
the Exam.
•You can find your RRB Group D Admit Card, itself as soon as the exam conducting
body releases the call letters.
•The Railway group d Result for all exams the result comes out within 1-2 months
of the exam date.
•Similarly, the RRB Group D Result will be announced after the exam takes place.
•Besides the RRB Group D Results are also found in the OfficialWebsite of the Indian
Railways.
RRB Group D – RRB PayScale:
•RRB Group D Pay scale is rupees 18,000/- for Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay matrix plus
allowances as admissible.
RRB Group D – RRB ExamCut off:
•Expected RRB Group d Cut offs is
•For the General Category the expected cut off is 71-76 out of 100
•For the OBC Category the expected cut off is 65-70 out of 100
•For the SC Category the expected cut off is 58-63 out of 100
•For the ST Category the expected cut off is 49-54 out of 100
RRB Group D – RRB ExamSelection Process:
•Selection procedure of Railway Group D is consist of computer based test-CBT that
will be written test
•After that PET (Physical EfficiencyTest) of the candidates who will clear the
written test
• After that Medical examination and DocumentVerification.
RRB Group D – ExamPreparation:
•Any competitive exam has 2 techniques in it’s preparation- Learn and then practice.
•While it is very important to be well versed with the syllabus
•It is equally important to complete that syllabus in the limited time and then take
practice tests to see what you’ve learnt.
•The exam for RRB Grade D will have four sections:

RRB Group D -Introduction: •RRB Railway Recruitment Board Exam is one of the Largest Recruiting Organization in India.The exam is directed for all education sectors from 10th pass to Graduation to post graduates students. •RRB group D Exam is mainly conducted in various posts Like: •Railway Junior Engineer Exam •Railway Section Engineer Exam •Railway group D Exam •Railway Loco Pilot Exam •Railway Non-Technical Posts Exam •62500+ seats are waiting for new candidates. •The Group D is considered as the lowest rank of occupation or a job post in any government or private jobs.
  • 3. •But here we are talking about the Indian Railways. •This year the Indian Railways have released the official notification for the Group D recruitment CEN02/2018.The Online applications are available from 10th Feb 2018 to 12th March 2018.

RRB Group D -Eligibility Criteria: •There are 2 section on which your RRB group d eligibility is judge for RRB Group D recruitment that is your Education and your Age. •Firstly,You need to qualify the following eligibility criteria to apply for this RRB Group D exam. •For the RRB Eligibility ITI is not mandatory •10th Pass students are also eligible to apply for RRB Group D Exam. •RRB has increased the upper age limit for Group D. •RRB Group D Age Limit is •MinimumAge for RRB Group d Exam is 18Years •Maximum Age for RRB Group d Exam is 33Years •RRB Group D Age Relaxation are as follows: •For the SC/ST Category is 5Years

  • 6. RRB Group D -Exam Important Dates: •Start Date of OnlineApplication is 10th February 2018 at 10 AM •Last Date of OnlineApplication is 31st March 2018 •Last Date of Payment is 31st March 2018 •Tentative Date of Exam is April / May

RRB Group D -Exam Pattern: •RRB Group D selection will be based on 3 stages •CBT that is Computer BasedTest •PET that is Physical EfficiencyTest •DocumentVerification •Computer BasedTest: •The CBT will be the first stage of selection that will be based on following pattern •There are 4 Papers in the RRB Exam that are: •Mathematics •General intelligence and Reasoning •General science •General Awareness on Current Affairs
  • 8. •Total number of Question is 100 •And theTime Duration is 90 min. •1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer •The Questions will be of ObjectiveType •Also the Questions will be multipleChoices •Physical EfficiencyTest: •After QualifyingCBT then you will be called for a Physical Efficiency •For the Male Applicant: •You have to lift and carry 35kg of weight of a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes •AndThis will be in one shot without putting the weight down. •You have to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in single chance.
  • 9. •For the Female Applicant: •You have to lift and carry 20kg of weight for a distance 100 meters in 2 minutes. •AndThis will be in one shot without putting the weight down. •You have to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds in single chance. •DocumentVerification: •Based on the performance of the Applicant in the CBT subject to their qualifying in PET •Applicant will be called for document verification. •Thereafter, the final selection will be finalized.

RRB Group D -Application Fees: •The Examination fees will be get refunded to the after they appear for the exam. •Those who are paid 250 rupees will be refunded the entire amount. •And those who are paid 500 rupees will be refunded the 400 rupees. •Fees for the General / OBC is 500 Rupees •Fees for the SC/ST/PWD/Female is 250 Rupees

RRB Group D -Application Procedure: •Click on the http://www.indianrail.gov.in link •Click on the Railway Recruitment Board and Select the Board City •Click on the Employment Notification •And Click “ Apply for CEN” •Click on the New Registration button •Then, Select any One RRB to Apply (RRB Once selected cannot be changed) •Then, Read all the Instruction related to RRB Group d exam •Click on the both the check box •Click on the submit Application •Registration form will be display on your screen

  • 13. •Check on the declaration box •And Click to Continue. •Check the “Verified and Confirm all the details furnished” •And Submit •Verify your account through OTP •You can activate your registration by verifying through OTPs received on your email and mobile Number. •EnterYour Registered email id •Enter the OTP that you received on your registered email id •Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number. •Enter Captcha •And click on the Submit button. •Click on the Login Button
