•IBPS is the recruitment agency which conducts exams to select students for the
vacancies of the different posts in the various banks in India.
•IBPS SO exam is being conducted to recruit students for the specialist officer posts
in the banks
•IBPS SO exam is conducted for the post of IT Officer / Law Officer / Agricultural
Officer / Rajbhasha Adhikari / HR Officer and Marketing Officer
•The method of examination is online
•The IBPS SO recruitment includes 2 phases of tests – Preliminary and Main before
at last being absorbed for the post.
3. IBPS SO Exam Details - Eligibility Criteria:
•The IBPS SO criteria is in the form of a student’s nationality
•According to the IBPS Authority, every student must belong to one of the following
•A Student should be citizen of India
•A Student should be citizen of Nepal
•A Student should be citizen of Bhutan
•The age of student should be in between 20 to 30 years
•Education Qualification:
•For Law Officer: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law along with enrolment as Advocate
in Bar Council
•For IT Officer: Engineering Degree in CS/IT/Computer Application/Electronics/
Electronics & Communication or a Post Graduation degree in computer science
