Josh Bastin: ‘I think its a good start, but you could make some of the transitions smoother.’ Amy Lester: ‘Add some more sound, some background music would give it more atmosphere!’ Alex Hoggett: I like it, but your titles are to boring at the moment.
Overall, our teacher, Mr Dunford liked the narrative behind our thriller as it was different to most students work which tries to create something complicated. He liked the simplicity of our work but though that we needed to add more sounds to give our piece more of an atmosphere. He suggested that we use some atmospheric music underneath our thriller film to make it more intense. Also, he noticed that one title did not fade out for as long as the others, and thought that we should check all of our transitions to make sure they were as smooth as possible. Mr Dunford suggested that we should experiment with the font of our titles, as although he liked the idea of simplicity, our titles needed something to make them look more appealing.
We decided that some areas of the rough cut needed more work, specifically the titles, transitions and soundtrack. Soundtrack: We started looking for some atmospheric music to add some more tension. We started to try out different fonts for our titles We looked in detail at the beginning and ends of shots to make sure transitions were unnoticeable to the viewer.
