Duct tape was invented in the 1920s and was originally used by the military to keep moisture out of ammunition cases. It proved to be very versatile for fixing guns, aircrafts, and jeeps. Duct tape is now commonly used in households to fix items like leaking pipes, damaged screens doors, and electrical outlets. Beyond its practical uses, duct tape can be used crafts such as wallets, belts, and phone cases. NASA has also used duct tape for emergency repairs on space shuttles.
2. History of duct tape
